What did you think the thread title related to you uneducated mutant? Honest to ****, as a collection of beings, the Rangers fans on here must be the stupidest creatures on earth. And I'm not just talking about humans. I include all animal species under that banner: dogs, fish, cats, dung beetles etc.
You think rangers not being in the SPL got you into the last 16. You think rangers not being in the SPL is why you are playing so **** against such mediocre competition. And I'm the thick one, aye ok ST.
We're top of the league with games to spare. We're still in the Scottish and League cups. Performances haven't been the best in every game but going to Tynecastle and blowing them away was well satisfying. Champs get points when they're not playing well - Rangers used to be the masters of it under Smith. Drawing a Scottish Cup tie at home is no reason in my eyes for alarm on its own. We could theoretically still win the lot. Some teams have seriously upped their game (Aberdeen and Hibs being the best examples) and teams now only need to come to Glasgow twice (if they're in the top half) instead of four times. We'd never won a group stage CL away game before (plenty qualifiers and pre-CL European Cup games, though) and that monkey is off our back. I can't speak for everyone but I'm already enjoying this season more than any I can remember. It's not an attempt at getting it up folk. It's just been brilliant
Its a ****ing disaster. We will probably end up turning a massive profit, raise the profile of the club around Europe, see some of the finest players playing today at Celtic Park and add win things. I for one I'm beeling at this!
I enjoyed the bits about otters. I'd happily open a Tiggywinkle-style otters' home, by the way. please log in to view this image At least everyone can agree that otters are brilliant
You're special MD. Very special. The thread is about a certain fat, ugly, not-at-all-biased journalist suggesting that it would be armageddon for Scottish football if the new Rangers weren't allowed back into the SPL. We Celtic fans are enjoying pointing out how good things are despite the grave threats. We're citing examples of reasons why things are so good. If you can't understand that or are too blinded by stupid loyalty to a football club to see that then I suggest it's you that is Medro-esque, not this thread.
Make your mind up ST, either it is or it isn't a thread to do with rangers. The only stupidity on this thread is you trying to justify **** league results. If you don't like a journalist, why the **** do you read his pish? honestly you lot just like being offended. I'm done on here you are even going round in circles like medro, its sheer whataboutery and I'll have no part in it.
1) It's not about Rangers, it's about the absence of Rangers. 2) I haven't tried to justify **** league results but if you want me to I'd happily point out that most dropped points have came on the back of CL games. 3) I don't very often read Jabba's "pish" but his "armageddon" article was posted and cited in loads of different places including here. 4) How can established facts like Celtic beating Barcelona and making it through to the last 16 of the CL be dubbed as "whataboutery"? As I said, you're a 'special' kind of lad, not unlike-Medro but at least you're not as obsessive and sheer ****ing mental as him. I'll give you that.
MD it is not about Rangers because as you know Rangers are dead and a wee tribute team better known as Sevco are doing the rounds of the fourth tier in Scottish football. I am afraid that it was agreed last week that your mate Trevor was the only spastic who posted on this post. All Celtic fans I know and meet are very happy with this season to date. With a young inexperienced team it is no surprise that they have difficulties with coping with the highs of Europe and the more mundane fixtures in Scottish football. We would of course dream of Celtic going through the season winning all our domestic games. We always knew that wouldn't happen but at the endof the day our team could hardly be in a better place. You MD if you were honest should also be happy to be playing in the fourth tier, I am sur you realise that Clubs formed years before your lot are still waiting to get into the league.
As an aside, Scott Brown joined Twitter last night and is sure to be a magnet for bams on it. He's just tweeted If anyone else saw the boak-inducing pic of Commons' leg last night, it was humming.
From what I can see at a quick glance BD, they seem mostly concerned about Lionel Messi's injury and giving a synopsis of Barca's possible opponents in the next round. A couple have expressed surprise at the exit of Chelsea and Manchester City. I suppose that says it all - after Celtic's performances against Barca it is obviously no surprise to anyone in Spain that the mighty Celts are through!
It did help as we could rest players for the champions league without rangers breathing down our necks.
