Got my response back yesterday telling me traffic on the M6 isn't under thei control.. <laugh>

Bit of advice lads, the M6, M62 and M60 are all nightmares.

If I do a mid week game again I will just take the day off I think. It's a nightmare getting stuck in the traffic.. The m62 was like a carpark so I did the alternative route through altrincham and sale.. Took two hours.. Then to watch absolute sh it

I wasn't planning on going last night due to already being through and expecting us to be **** but thought I may aswell go, sort of a last minute thing. Still left Donny at half 3 though. Got to love the M62.

I thought we'd have been ok at that time or I would have gone over the woodhead pass.

Probably should have gone that way anyway considering the 50 zone which seems to have been in place since the begining of time.

Be thankful you weren't on the M6, a loathsome motorway which just grinds you down. Going north, Stafford to the M62 stretch, you are guaranteed to have some form of delay.

    It's the law.

I didn't get above 40 for the whole of that stretch.. I thought in traffic 2 and a half hours tops as when I've been up on Saturdays an Sundays I do it in 1 hour 20. No four ****ing hours it took..

Back on topic.. I won't be having dinner tonight as I'm back in the saddle for circuit training tonight.

looking forward to this chilli tonight, tasted it at lunchtime, beautiful. Biggest distinction I can make is the paprika and the cinnamon, took the stick out though as didn't want it too strong.

Yeah, good point I should have made.

If you leave it overnight take it out before reheating. The smoked paprika is just lovely though, gives it a real depth of flavour.

Just had the remains of mine for dinner, it was a good one. Not sure how I can improve it now. Id like it hotter myself but I tone it down so she can eat it too.

She does this thing called 'spicy prawns', we're having it tonight, and there are literally no spices in it! **** knows where she got the name from.

I dropped a couple of dried bird eyes in it once and she went tonto.
