Unfortunately due to financial issues i couldn't afford to renew my pass at the beginning of the season, the first season since moving to the KC ive not got a pass. Each season ive sat in the same spot in the South stand. Well ive just tryed buying one of the Half season tickets in my old seat in the South stand to find i can no longer buy an adult ticket on my own in that stand regardless of the fact ive being in that same seat 10 odd years! Do the club actually want supporters in the ground ? beacause the club can do one as far as iam concerned, my best friends are in the South stand , cant afford the West and arent being dictated to by the club by being forced into the East stand ! Is there any way the club can be made aware of fans views theese days?
The South Stand is now the family stand, I don't think it's unreasonable for the club to allocate an area for families. It's not just some South Stand fans that have had to move, at some point in the not too distant, the away area is going to be moved and fans will be moved out of the north end of the East or West stands to accommodate this(probably with a singing/standing section encouraged to move to the new look North Stand).
We're all adults and still in the south, didn't notice it was a family stand til we'd renewed. You don't wanna be here anyway, full of ****ing annoying kids pissing you off and screeching stupid things at the top of their high pitched girl voices. Not only that you have to be very careful of your behaviour an language and at times find yourself concentrating more on not shouting swear words at the referee than the game itself. Wish I could move, I really do. I ****ing hate kids, and it's made this season so far less enjoyable to be at the game.
An area of the ground yes, there did use to be 2 , one part of the west and a part of the south prevoiusly but a full stand is just stupidity, some of us do like to sit behind the goal at football matches you know :]
I suggest Newlandcasual buys an East stand half season pass and then duly swaps it for Bull**** Man's south stand pass. Newland gets to sit in the south and Bull**** no longer has to listen to schreeeeeeeeeeching kids. Everyone's a winner !
The stupid thing is most of the seats directly behind the goal are empty for most matches , should be one of the prime areas in the ground for real fans to get behind the team and get an atmosphere going A whole stand for the family area ??
Exactly having the whole of the South stand as a family area now is just sure stupidity and not allowing Adults to buy passes there any more even if therve sat there since the move from Bp, particulary given theres loads of empty seats in there as well !
I Hope this comes true Olm i would love a standing area in the north stand because of the noise level that can be made in there
O yes as before we changed the South Stand to a family stand it was really buzzing with fans and a hive for singing. Don't be so stupid. Last year the south stand was half empty and not one song started there, so all this bull about it been a place to get the atmosphere going is nonsense, it didn't happen last year when it wasn't a family stand so why would it all of a sudden now if we changed it back?
You miserable sod! There was plenty of info about the South stand changing to a family stand before the renewals even started. We have had to move to the South Stand with our children, mainly because of the ridiculous price hike in the West, but I can assure you, they are not annoying, nor do they have screeching, girly voices! Don't forget, you were a kid once, and these 'annoying' kids are the Tiger Nation of tomorrow!
I know that, but I just hate kids I've got a daughter myself, which I assumed would help sort me out, but I still can't stand any other kids than her. Don't know what it is can't put my finger on it they just really piss me off and I don't know why! And I didn't see anything about it being a family stand, I don't live in hull to hear about these things, the website is **** and I never go on it, I just opened the renewal thing, filled in the form as per usual there was no noticeable warning of it becoming a family stand, but that's life. Really can't wait to tell the referee to **** off and get some glasses next season, that old saying "you don't know what you've got til it's gone" is entirely true.
Nobody said it was , it should be though I've come to the conclusion most fans here don't care about any atmosphere at football anyway
The reason for the price hike was to make families move to the South Stand, it's worked at plenty of clubs like Cardiff. More fans on here care about an atmosphere than those who actually go to games. The people that want to sing and make noise do so. All this talk of a 'singing section' is bollocks, there already is one in the North end of the East stand. The club want it to be policed differently to the rest of the stadium, which is why it's rare that stewards ever come in.
