The poll is running almost 2 to 1 in favour of keeping Derek McIness, proves the majority want to give him a bit more time, can the minority now concentrate on supporting Bristol City FC....<ok>

My seat will be vacant until the board & the Majority sees sense and realises "that bit more time" could lose our championship status for many years..

I am also pretty down about it, but if I had enough money and energy to travel back and fro. I'd be there for every game, home and away. It's my club has been for 63 years and will be forever. It's my one regret about coming here to live and it gets harder to live without it "in the flesh" the longer I am away.
So everyone who loves City for goodness sake don't stop going if you are able to get there!

Cider, it's MY way of showing that I don't want my club to end up back to square one, starting with relegation under this clueless manager. It's drastic I know, but needs must and I feel that strongly.
It's also been my club since the mid 60s.

Have had three STs for the last 15 years in a row but it gets harder and harder lately to get the enthusiasm to get down the gate.

Really will struggle to replace next year, if we are relegated,I reckon you can take 4 thousand STs of next season if we go down.

The reason I voted for DM to stay was that I don't feel that at the moment, his position is untenable. We have not reached the low point where due to performances and results, relagation appears a certainty. While I still believe that the team have the ability play to their full potential, as they have proved albeit fleetingly under DM regime, there is hope.

I guess everyone who has posted on here has their own definition of exactly what point the manager should be replaced. I just happen to think that atm we are not quite there. DM has dug us out of 2 holes so far- the 2nd hole was of his own making- I feel he should be given the opportunty to dig us out again....... Let's face it atm what are the alternatives.

I think Del should stay for now, but only because there isn't another manager available to fill his boots. Besides, who would want to take over at a club with 15000 regular fans who feel they should be in the Champions League and beating Man U and Arsenal in between.

We are a SMALL club. It hurts me to say that but it's true. There are bigger clubs in L1 ie Coventry, Sheffield U. Even Leicester, Norwich and Southampton have had a recent taste of L1 recently, but their fans stuck by them and they pulled through.
I hate the dire position we are in and I have always been more negative when predicting our results than my good friend hillsider from otib, but sacking manager after manager is not the answer IMO. There are many examples of managers with poor starts who end up taking their teams to the highest level
I will support Del for a while longer.

Why don't WE all get behind Del and the team? These negative 'fans' that moan to twentypence or on any football site can should pull their socks up and get behind the club or shut the **** up and **** off, we are CITY and we have to stay strong in support.

trust me most city fans do support the team, but it gets to a stage where you got royally pissed off at your team under achieving. 3 years of dire football, relegation battles and watching **** players week in week out most city fans have had it.

Great - could you give your ticket to someone who will SUPPORT the team.

If a player gave up up on the pitch then we'd be the first to moan. Why should it be any different for the fans?

Players are paid a small fortune to play for our club,at least they should give it their all,not the malarkey we saw against Wolves.
