We'd have more chance of getting one to the tune of Soft Kitty. City in place of Kitty, score in place of purr, and I haven't thought about the rest yet. Only if he comes out doing the dance.
Jimmy Savile alledegdly had something similar ... but with a clever line twist re 'noise' and 'boys' .. but if you're going for Slade how about "So here we are Merry Tiggggers Everybody's having fun Look to the future 'tho it's surely in League One" (And repeat)...
In a very loose sense. Google "McLean where you been", it's literally one of the worst songs I've heard, but Aaron makes an appearance in the video.
I really enjoyed it if I'm honest - had some cracking days out and mixed with some 'real' footie fans .... games like Hereford away over Easter really put things into perspective ... much prefer mixing with those types than some of the glory boys that attach themselves to the top Prem clubs ..
Bit unfair ISTPLT .. quite like Gangster's Paradise and also that collaboration by Rhianna and Eminem 'Love The Way you Lie' ... to name but two
Old rap stuff like Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, De la Soul + others are quite good. I agree the new stuff is ****e.
Okay, I haven't heard every rap song, but all the **** they play on the radio - I think it's what passes as current - is just ****. We always talk about Coldplay being **** on the City board, but like it or not they are at least real musicians playing real music with instruments and stuff, whereas 80% of the 'music' on Capital Radio is just a series of daft noises and either arrogant black men, whiny bitches or both.
I disagree. Viking FM, Capital, Galaxy, Radio 1 play a lot of **** during the day to appease the teeny boppers. Actually Radio 1 do put some better stuff on later on.
I'm not defending Coldplay, just saying that compared to some of the **** on the radio, any proper band who play guiatrs and stuff are a blessing!
We could play White Lines and claim it was an ironic reference to the fact we can't seem to remove the ones left after rugby games.
It's Christmas play time and youngest is singing 'we are a mighty choir, our voices are very loud, and we will sing a song for you, with a mighty sound!' Surely....we are the mighty city, our voices are very loud...etc
