The irony is Haynes has since been racially insulted on twitter by Millwall fans. But of course it's not their fault
The trouble is you tar everybody with the same brush - I'm not a hooligan never have been and never will be I certainly don't condone it and wish all the yobs would piss off and not come back - so really not irony (would have been if I had been a thug). It wasn't a lecture it was a statement of FACT - or do you disagree with that? You can bury your head in the sand all you want but the 'Red Division' are going to cause you problems if they carry on like they did on Saturday
Well he did accuse us of racists comments which turned out to be a LIE - so he's a lying c*** at least - if he's getting racist abuse on twitter let him report it to the OB and they will pay the gentlemen concerned a visit
Or not enough evidence. No one said they lied. I agree that you have to be very careful when making these statements, but I really don't believe both individuals created this story- they had no need to.
Pretty ironic considering that Millwall fans have been on 'ere with threats of what is going to happen to Charlton fans when we play you at the Valley. You are pointing the finger at our undesirables while ignoring your own.
Not at all I know we have our fair share of 'nutters' and wish they would piss off but what I stated earlier was a matter of FACT as to what happened Saturday which YOU have chosen to ignore. As for people coming onto your board and 'threatening' you asto what will happen at the valley I think you'll find it was their OPINION of what will or will not happen. Many of your fans have posted that they are now worried about 'reprisals'. I really hope it doesn't happen bit I fear it will (which is my OPINION) which will do neither of our clubs anything but harm.
There were half a dozen or more stewards posted along that section of the stadium and after the Sordell incident I'm pretty sure that they were under instructions to report any racist incidents and would have corroborated their stories if racist language had been involved - from where I was sitting I could see that they were laughing and giving back to whoever was 'speaking' to them. I daresay there was a great deal of good old anglo-saxon english being spoken - and it depends on how the individual reracts to it - one can always hear what one wants to hear.
Correct me if I'm wrong, GOS, but are you not extremely happy about the FACT that we have an undesirable element among our support, hence the undisguised gloating? Before the match all the gloating was about what Millwall was going to do on the field. They didn't, so you have chosen to focus on our undesirables. The FACT is that, given Millwall's history, that makes you a tad vulnerable!
No I'm not happy that you are getting a hooligan rep (you'll steal our thunder). I am certainly not gloating it was meant to be a light-hearted bit of banter which you obviously took to heart. I admit it was in retaliation in part for all the times in the past that Millwall have had 'problems' and some of your fans have come onto our board calling us scum, knuckledraggers, baby bashers and a few other names and some of the time (not all) we have deserved it and I would be amongst the first to say you're right. BUT I didn't call you any names or insult you I only stated what had happened, unfortunately you didnt hold your hands up and say 'fair play mate', or just ignore it, you come back with an inflamatory statement. If you dish it out you gotta expect to get it back.
Not dishing anything out. I've been more critical of our own fans recently over some offensive songs, never insulted Millwall fans or called them names.
