Tebow got a reputation for driving the Broncos down the field and winning games in the Fourth Quarter. You can't teach that. He had a decent college resume and CAN THROW THE BALL if he has to. Sanchez is a sitting duck in the pocket most of the time. He can run, but not well and really can't fend off tackles the way Tebow can. McElroy has been classified as a "game manager"; don't throw a pick and achieve little victories. His job is to get down the field four to five yards at a time. If the Jets can run, McElroy can win. Game Managers have won Super Bowls.
Afternoon all, I've just joined to use the NUFC board and noticed the invitation to this thread. I've been watching NFL for about 3-4 years now and my team is the Indianapolis Colts. However my money is on the Broncos for the Superbowl win.
Hi NUFCPaul welcome to the board, 3 Indy fans now! I'm surprised we have no Cowboys or Raiders fans yet. Back in the 80's you couldn't move for Raiders t shirts, it became a real fashion statement.
It's the 49ers for me as well, pompey, but only for the last 50+ years or so (I came to the UK from San Francisco in 1971 and have been here ever since. Now my first love is Norwich City, having lived in Norwich from 1972 - 1980. I get back when I can, as I do for SF as well!
Im a falcons fan. Started watching when i was at uni a couple of years ago and for some reason picked the falcons haha. Also got a soft spot for the cowboys as i am unbeatable as them on madden, for some reason me and tony romo get on well on there haha. Falcons my main team though!
Jets in the NFL! Mets in the MLB! So between those teams and Southampton (this year, anyway) I get to watch sports teams I like lose quite frequently. Yay!
Cheers Callum, a lot of Southampton fans like NFL I'm the only one of the Blues so far, I'm trying to coax Lapras down here. Welcome too stanclave, our first Philly fan.
