Agree with the team, it's a shame udinese is must win, otherwise would have been a great game to give match experience to the likes of Morgan. We only have ourselves to blame and uts a double edged sword in that the further we progress the better team we need to put out

Anyone know the rules around registering new players in the knockout stages if we go through? If we get new striker(s) in Jan and they aren't cup tied are we allowed to register a few more players?
depends on them being cup tied etc... we can put someone in if they are not cup tied. (see carroll no matter how bad he was) all in all i think this comp is about getting as far as we can with reserves while we focus on the league.. its developmental. we simply haven't got a team to win it unlike when rafa had a go. I think its all about preparing a squad to play two times a week... there is zero point being spurs and getting to the cl only to not be able to play the league matches too.... develop the players fill the squad gaps and learn what can be releid on... not stuart downing obviously for example. We got wisdom and suso and sterling through, i don't see any more being ready but assaidi has done ok to settle in using it... I'd hope by next year we'll fill in a better squad and i really hope we snatch another europa berth to continue developing
We can't register ex CL players & ex europa players - we had this problem when we signed Suarez - it can work the other way though
