The difference no other spl club got liquidated , your club died , went bust , finished use what ever word you want but that was the end of your spl registration . Why should these club vote you back ?? With you dumping your 100 million debt , remember if any sanction were implied your fans said you would boycott all away games . I've only got one issue with one person in it, really. If fans want to boycott (only one I ever backed was to "sack the board"), then they're perfectly free to go ahead with it and people are perfectly free to disagree with it. I think you would've received more ridicule, TBH, if Rangers fans didn't go through with it after saying they would. The actual club backing it is a proper precedent, though - unheard of. Chuckles statement says that the decision was unanimous amongst directors and management. That means (if he's telling the truth) that Walter Smith voted for the boycott which is an attempt to "get back at" or hurt Dundee United. The club that gave him his chance and stood by him. Played there for over a decade - they were his first club and they took him back for a second spell even though his injury was hampering him. Bit ****ing snide if my tuppence is worth anything.
