I guess we could have done a leeds and tried to ignore a record drop of around 20,000 after the team dropped a league and then just sent emails or stood in a group mumbling as a protest. I bet you're gald that club got liquidated so such uncomfortable facts are no longer linked to the franchise you follow.

Well Jock, ignoring the fact such things only matter to the weak and shallow, as it stands, despite a history of thieves and failures, we're in a play off spot in the same league as former European Clubs like Forest and with gates above the average and in a ground we get for a peppercorn rent from transparent owners. Sounds like a decent set up and loyal fans to me.

So do I DMD. So do I. I'll never change. I can hardly be called a plastic glory supporter when I started watching Leeds in 1983, when we were actually worse than we are now. And the irony is that both teams were in very similar positions to what they are now, give or take a few places.

It's just that since then both teams have had extremely contrasting fortunes, at times at the very opposite end of the scale, but these roles will never be reversed in our lifetime. We'll never be as **** as you were, and you'll never be as good as we were, and that is fact.

And just for the record, the Leeds United I started watching in the 80's is the same as as the Leeds United I follow today and the Leeds United I will always follow. It will never change. But if it makes you happy to cling on to the fact that Leeds United is only 6 years old and you're more successful than us because you've spent 2 seasons in the top flight in you entire history, then you take that little thought with you.

It was admittedly more in hope than expectation, but one would've expected you to have become rather bored by now, seeing as you've managed to bore the rest of us into a stupor. Considering you're meant to hate us you spend an awful lot of time on our boards.

To be honest mate you can assume all you like if it makes you happy. But if it puts you in such a good mood, you surely won't mind vacating our board and going back to yours. Or better yet, go bother Bradford or someone that actually wants your rivalry

Ellen, you can't just shove your fingers in your ears. As the man said, you're entitled to form your own opinion, but you can't form your own facts. The club from the 80's has gone. It tried to play with the big boys and failed causing 50% of the 'fans' to leg it from one division to the next. now that doesn't mean much to me, but it clearly matters to those who bleat on about size.

Leeds are a third tier club that clambered to the second tier. That's just a fact.
