Norwich are a lot more conservative than they were last season and will not attack in the numbers you have experienced in the past. We will play the pressing game periodically on your defense, and consistently in midfield, and hit you on the counter attack and from set pieces (look out for Snodgrass delivery). Norwich have been very successful at restricting the better technical teams (Arsenal & Man U for example where we ran out winners in both these games). It will be very tough for both teams, and low scoring. Canaries fans will be hoping for a draw - 0:0 or 1:1, perhaps expecting a 1:0 or 2:1 defeat.
Footballers as a demographic group are not the sharpest knives in anybody's draw. The numbers don't lie. What!!!! are you calling every footballer thick and don't know what they are talking about having played or wrote about the game and if anyone would know i would suspect they would know and most definitely me or you or any other fan wont.. are you for real???..
This is the sort of blame we blow, just when the expectations are at the highest! This will need the team to step up again and make sure there is no complacency! Not confident yet
I'd be happy with win regardless of the score.Norwich are no mugs and shouldn't be seen as such. They've had some good results this season and will finish comfortably above 17th , Houghton is a good manager and that's been shown this season ,nothing outstanding but steady progress .
Im praying for a win here. Always hate these types of games after a massive result! A nice dull boring game with the swans running out 1-0 winners will do me nicely. Then on to the big uns
like i have always said. treat the teams around and below us with as much respect as the top teams, play them with the same vigor and guts as if we were playing man utd or citeh.....we cannot play them like we played the saints or we will get punished.....It should be a cracking game and we must keep holt quiet and we know we can do that, Im very pleased with the back 5 at the moment they have been superb...
Going to state the obvious here as it appears to have escaped you, its not the fans playing, its the players and Laudrup will keep the players grounded
We have a history of struggling against Norwich...or maybe to be more exact against Paul Lambert. With him gone perhaps we will fare better. I haven't seen much of Norwich this season so can't be sure if their style of play is similar to before.
Well, if we're going to be facetious - clearly you've not heard of a twelfth man? And I'm not talking about the ref. Think Delia "Let's be 'avin you". Our home form has been great because of the support from the crowd, and we know the same is true of, e.g., Stoke at the Britannia. The crowd has a surprising impact. Here's an example of why I hope it's more than just a minority of Swans fans who expect a win: We were on a really good run last season and the next match was Fulham. Fulham have technically very good players, they've been in the Prem for getting on for a decade, they're strong. But for some reason Canary fans just expected that this was a home banker. When Fulham scored within the first 20 mins, the atmosphere was terrible and for the first time since League 1, Norwich fans were obviously unhappy and it rubbed off. We played terribly, but got an equaliser in the last 10 minutes, competely undeservedly. I think our best chance of a draw on Saturday, or even a win, is if your fans go flat because it will rub off on your team
The liberty go flat? I reckon a 2-1 Home win but a very close, tough game. Norwich are a very good side and I really rate their gaffer. Is Pablo gonna be fit? Anyone know?
Norwich have only scored more than 1 goal in a Premier league game on two occasions this season. The first was a 2-5 home defeat to Liverpool and the second was a 2-1 win over Sunderland last weekend. And that's a FACT.
Its another game where if we play like we have in our last two games then we should pick up the 3 points. we must start the game as we mean to finish the game and that is command every position and try to score early goals, we have not lost a match when we score the first goal.....
Statistics over the last 8 games reveal 1st Man U W7 D0 L1 21 points 2nd Man C W5 D3 L0 18 points 3rd Norwich W4 D4 L0 16 points 4th Swansea W4 D3 L1 15 points Should be an interesting game
Sorry, that won't happen. The only time the atmosphere has been flat this season was for the cup game against Barnsley. That was because the stadium was only half full on a week night. Saturday is going to be electric friend
