Sorry, Matt, I usually enjoy your contributions but I think you are bang out of order to include Mohammed in that list of names. Some people might also be offended by Jesus too.

Must say I took offence to the title Brat, both the childs father and uncle have served this country with honour so why would you think he/she would be a brat or spoiled in any way? I would say probably 60% of children in the UK are growing up to be a total waste of oxygen and add or contrabute nothing to the country, just waiting in line for thier dole money and free house after they get pregnant at 15.

If a member of our royal family was named Mohammed, it would probably offend more Muslims than anyone else. To name a child Mohammed is a religious statement, and the same would go for Jesus if anyone was actually called that. For the sake of keeping religion separate from the state, I actually agree with Matt.

Don't belittle people on welfare. Some genuinely need it because they were born into a difficult situation, and shouldn't be made to feel bad. J.K. Rowling was on welfare once. Not that I disagree that those oxygen thieves you're describing exist. People shouldn't have kids they can't afford.

Matt's comment was along the lines that the names were unacceptable with the suggestion that the characters were the equivalent of Hitler or Bin Laden.

I had that thought when I first glanced over his comment, but I'm sure he didn't mean it like that. (Though Mohammed did apparently rape a lot of kids (please don't kill me)).

Although i agree with you regarding calling the unborn baby a brat and also the fact that the childs Father is a serving member of HM Forces and not a lay about, i do dispute your allegation about 60% of the children of this country being useless. Nothing could be further from the truth - there are some hopeless cases but most children grow up to be decent contributing adults when given a chance. You only hear about the failures from the doom merchants. I have apprentice marine engineers and navigators join my company from school and the 2012 intake are just as good across the board as the intake when i started in the early 1970's. My youngest son goes to a large secondary school here in Hampshire and the bulk of the teenagers at this school are decent enough kids from what i see of them. There has always been a hopeless minority and i doubt that the % is any greater now than when you left school.

I am 42 and i`m now starting a family with a 15month boy and a girl on the way, my job dictates that I had to work in London and I could never think of letting my kids go to a public school in London so I never had any. Unfortunately its not the childrens fault but the parents fault when the kids grow up as thick as two short planks (although some kids are born just plain dumb), I feel this childs parents will supply a very loving enviroment for Jnr, which is just as well as granddad and Camilla have all the love and warmth of a dead badger

The Royal family is institutionally rascist. Look at all those black nations with Princes and Princesses who have been snubbed as potential brides or grooms for members of our monarchy. If the little ginger haired royal flasher married an Indian Princess then I would start to revise my opinion of them. A rascist white Greek Prince is OK but a black Indian Princess?

    Congratulations on the upcoming baby.

I'm sure we've all known people who have made the dreadfully selfish decision to have kids when they were incapable of providing a decent upbringing for them. Nothing makes me sadder. But we should always take care not tar everyone with the same brush. On the whole, welfare makes this country better.

I'd rather have a figurehead who inherits their position than an unnecessary politician fouling up the country, spouting bullshit on TV and pandering to vested interests in the media and big business in a desperate attempt to get them to support their bid to be re-elected.

That's exacly why we are not as democracy - the MPs that get elected (by the few who are not cynical enough not to vote) do not represent the interests of the people who out them there. This is why we have had a succession of poor leaders or tyrants like Thatcher. If the politicians did want the electorate wished them to do, I'm sure Liz Windsor and her cronies would have been thrown in the skip years ago.

So it's racist to have preferences? I guess I'm racist as I find white and Asian girls more attractive than black girls.

Harry is unlikely to become king now with this new one on the way, so I guess he can marry who he likes now.

Better still follow the French example all the way.Take them to the Guillotine and sell the TV rights for the event to SKY on a pay per view basis.Would pay off the deficit in one foul sweep.

Why many thanks, my boy knows he can play for England or Colombia- but he will play for Southampton. Welfare is a fabulous thing, really pisses me off when people abuse it. I have a restaurant here in Colombia (best fish and chips in town) and I employ several single mums that had to leave school when they were pregnant and have not passed any exams so even if they got a job it would be on minimum wage about 6 pounds a day and would recieve no housing or money for the baby but with minimum health insurance. When you see people really suffering because of no education and no hope it really gets you down, but I must have employed 200 people here in 7 years and the vast majority left because they did not want to learn anything new even though I pay twice as much as alot of places here. That I fear for alot of kids in England.
