FC may have got an England call up but history shows there are many one match wonders. I think we should forget the sentiment leave well alone and look elsewhere... not sure where though. If it proceeds it needs to be a very in depth medical. I think Jay Bothroyd was the worst one match wonder recently. Bruces signings are spot on, never thought he would convert me but am a Bruce fan right now, if he gets him I reckon he's good to go (Campbell)
It was in some of saturdees papers that Millwall have offered £1m for Chris Wood in January but now face stiff competition from Ipswich, Wendies and Hull City. Maybe we could offer £1.5m for both Chris Wood and Bo Myhill in January ? Just saying like.

1.5 million isnt that much when you consider how much we will get if we go up. Surely our owners can toss around that kind of money.
You dont know until you try. Steve Bruce has a history of getting quality in on the cheap. Who would have thought he would get someone as good as Sone Aluko for Free ? Myhill can walk next summer and WBA are wanting to cash in on Chris Wood. £1.5m is a fair starting price under the circumstances. Just saying like.
Steven Fletcher is now OUT Injured @ Sunderland. Not sure how long but it will be interesting to see if MON gives FC any game time or starts during his absence.
Not sure John. It wont be to play thats for sure at the moment. Looking at there bench @ Norwich sunday it was not that poor but certainly anymore more injuries and they would have no choice. Imo, i think that MON will put Meyler on a 48hr recall just in case. As for Fletcher ? who knows how long he will be missing.
We do need a target man who can hold up the ball and Campbell isn't in that category Deano did all the hold up play and Campbell fed off him,a role Aluko can competently fill .So how many "hold up men" will be available in the January window ................ names anyone?
