Mafia Game: Day 1

Day breaks....

So after a nice nights sleep, dreaming the things F1 fans dream (in some cases I'm not sure I want to know what that includes, EMSC I'm looking at you.), our intrepid crew start to wake up the next morning.

Except, what is this? I Beat Vettel in F3 aka tomtom, has been found on the floor at the back of the bus, strangled with his own Red Bull scarf! With auto-erotic asphyxiation quickly ruled out, the fans are left with the undeniable conclusion that there's a murderer in their midst!

Sadly, despite the doctor waking up in the night after a bad dream, he missed poor 'I Beat Vettel in F3', assuming it was just the light making his face look a little purple. He instead sorted out someone else, who had slipped out of their seat, before going back to sleep.

As day breaks, and the horror of the nights events are realised, the fans get angry and afraid. In this lawless society that seems to exist on the coach trip, they decide to take matters into their own hands, and lynch whoever they suspect the most. But, who was it? Who crept from their beds in the dead of night to kill poor tomtom?

-I'm currently thinking of having the day thread open for 3 days, but this'll be flexible. If everyone has posted a vote, then I'll call the day over, but if there's been very little discussion, I might extend it. It'll be trial and error to begin with.
-Sorry tomtom/'I Beat Vettel in F3', you can't post in this or subsequent day threads, on account of being dead. Feel free to rage beyond the grave in the discussion thread, but please don't say anything which indicates a potential killer. Dead people can't name names.

*Are there actually any ladies on this forum? Unless anyone wants to come forward and confess to being of the female persuasion, I'm going to stick with just 'gents' from now on.

 

Did tomtom actually get murdered or did he get a bit too heavy on the Champagne he won in the sweepstakes and got a little kinky with Red Bull scarf?

So Im being blamed for posting first. fair enough I was mocking the dead but trust me im innocent. I think those who jumped on me are looking for a scapegoat... Its obvious the real killer would join the mass concensus

My final and firm choice is unknown yet, changed my mind.

 

I'd be surprised if it was Fred or El Bando. Its a little too obvious, especially after the first kill. Its surely later when they get cocky. I'll wait until everyone has commented.

 

This shows why reading is very, very important in the game of mafia. Not reading properly can cause suspicion.

Bolded part is curious. I'll put it down to not knowing the rules properly... for now.

The first one to vote usually has a hand in the murder? That's a pretty bold statement to make. Trying to throw us off yourself maybe?

Would you care to elaborate on who the guilty party is of "one of the lot" above yourself? Again I could see this as trying to not get attention on yourself early in the game.

A very wise point, although from my experience the person who posts first usually gets questioned for "being too eager" or something like that.

Anyway a few more people need to post before I go throwing around accusations, I've expressed my feelings on things I thought may be relevant for now.
