Yeah, we've got most sciences covered I think. My SO studies Biomed, how do you find it? I guess you aren't going to be drawn to F1 if you aren't fairly intellectual. It isn't as simple as say football, where the team leading are actually winning, with F1, once you understand it, you know that they driver in 6th (or whatever) might be a dead cert to win it, it requires more thought. Equally, if you don't think about F1 you'd never understand why 11th is often better than 10th on the grid.

And as a sport, it's probably the most technically demanding one. You can give someone the plain numbers comparing F1 cars to, say, road cars, but to understand where those numbers come from, takes another type of person, which is probably the same type of person who you come across on forums, arguing over wheel bases and centres of gravity, etc.

It's okay at the moment, I am first year so the units are pretty basic so everyone can start on the same level.
And I completely agree with your comment later.

Ah, she's in her 3rd and final year, and finding it pretty challenging. But she still enjoys it. Do you get to do human dissection in first year? It always creeped me out a bit when she'd come back smelling of formaldehyde.

Nah I don't think they allow that here, we have looked at specimens. Epithelium, nerve cells etc, micro-organisms on agar... loads of stuff. Genetics is also included.
We watched an autopsy which was disturbing.

Got an A in that in GCSE's, but I would never be able to attempt it at A-level.
