Saying what? I rate Rafael as the best RB in the league right now and have always considered him a good player. I also made a thread about Ando being the reason we havent yet signed a midfielder. His performances at times this season sort of tie into that idea. If he could do it week in week out we wouldnt need to be that worried about centre mid. Maybe its just me being weird, not wanting to blame one player for the team losing?
Tbh Giggs and Rooney make many mistakes. Rio and Evans have made loads this season. Lindegard has made several. Valencia has played entire games where hes done the same thing over and over despite it failing the first 30 times he tried it. Fergie has made mistakes that have cost us the game. Spurs for example. Horrible team selection v Liverpool. When they do it though the general consensus is its a team game so we cant blame the individual. So why not with Nani?
I'm fairly certain it was directed at United since 63. I know I have also doubted both of those players ability to make the grade and am happy to accept that right now Rafael is looking every inch a quality right back. Still think Anderson is a waste of a squad number but we will see. I think his attitude is bad and his injury record is in part down to his poor fitness levels. Frustrating as he could be good, we need more than the odd two game burst from him though. You seem to mistake us making Nani responsible for the equaliser as him being responsible for the over all defeat. One thing led to the other, yes, but the match was ultimately lost in extra time and he wasn't responsible for those goals. I see no reason to deny that it was his actions that caused the equaliser though, you sound like Donga blindly and wrongly defending Suarez.
Ive already said I thought he was hit and miss during the game, more towards the miss if I am honest. And yes Nani losing the ball started Chelseas final surge forward but there were other players who could of won the ball back and the defender didnt have to make such a rash tackle. Having read Fergies full interview he doesnt blame Nani but the team, which is what I would do. It was a team failure that cost us the game in the end. Anyway its done with now, bigger things to come this weekend and beyond. I will only sound like Donga when in a years time I am banging on about this same discussion
His decision making for me indicates a blatant lack of intelligence. Clearly a thick. So frustrating considering his natural ability. With some form of thought process could be up with the true greats. For me he is just too hot and cold. Never an average, steady game. Always brilliant or rubbish. Just too unreliable. Curious to see how this pans out.
Like **** it is. Young needs to **** off and Valencia has been utterly dreadful in every game this season. Nani has at least done something even though hes been poor himself. Theres a sense something might happen with Nani, the other two have been embarrassing.
facing clubs who sit back nani is more effective .. but facing big sides .. Nani is just too selfish at games we need to keep ball more
Young shouldn't play if Nani is fit. Young's a decent squad player, but I have no idea how he's ahead of Nani in the pecking order. The only meaningful thing I think Young has done all season was set up Rafael's goal against Fulham.
he is not in 2013 calendar .. am 90% he is leaving .. more in January.. i can't believe a player need 2 months to nurse a hamstring.. and surprisingly the target day for his return in early January http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/nani-is-set-to-leave-manchester-united-1470910
If we offload him in January and don't have an immediate replacement for him, then it'll be one of the stupidest thing the club has done in the past few years. Young is a squad player nothing more.
can't agree more .. unless Sir Alex have a replacement.. it will be stupid to sell him in Jan guess all will depend if he will find a replacement by Jan otherwise he will wait till the summer
I can well imagine that if we ever signed Sterling (and I'd hope to God we wouldn't) he'd quickly become the feckless girl beater he actually is in the Liverpool fans eyes. As it stands they ignore his obvious flaws as they're so ****ing desperate.
Is there any other winger in the PL that you guys think is good enough for our squad, especially if Nani left in January/June? That would leave us with Valencia and Young as pure wide men, and many others who are square pegs in round holes out wide (Kagawa, Welbeck, Rooney, Cleverley, Fabio etc.) Obviously Bale would walk straight into the left winger slot, anyone else though, as squad players? (I'd exclude Man City and Chelsea players as they wouldn't be looking for a move, but any other club's players would welcome a move I'm sure) EDIT: Answers like Routledge and Lallana will be well received for discussion. Anyone answering Downing will be banned and institutionalised. Besides, he's a Left Back now
The calendar also has no De Gea, Lindegaard, Evra, Buttner, Rafael, Anderson, Rio, Fletcher, Jones or Smalling. My god, we are 90% selling half of our squad! Daily ****ing Mirror....
comn.... there wasn't any strong rumors that none of above players you mentioned are leaving Nani one was consistent since the start of the season.. sure all media can't be all wrong
I prefer Sterling.. first it will be a great kick in the teeth for loserpool fans and secondly he is more talented and he is demanding alot and not renewing his contract.. so chance we jump in
I'm with the yank! Unless we have a top quality replacement lined up it would be silly to sell. My extremely unrealistic target would be bale.
