iTunes the store itself is ****, the songs are never above 256kbps mp3s and you have no option to get the likes of a .wav file for lossless audio quality. You need at least 320kbps really for it to sound decent through a soundsystem. Always Beatport and a few other sites for me as I'd rather have the lossless format.
I do like the program's organisation though, I use it to browse through tracks when I'm DJing to then drop into Ableton and warp the track if I haven't already & it's also what I use when listening to music from my computer.

Jailbreaking is undetectable if you know what you're doing. Piss easy to wipe the iPhone clean back to Apple firmware, it is only like reformating a computer after all. You can run flash on it as well after.
Although the main reason I have an iPhone is the fact it syncs with my mac and also can plug it into my car's stereo via USB and control the music through the stereo's LCD dash. If I was to switch to Android now, I'd lose the apps I'd bought and be unable to control music from the stereo.

I had my 3GS stolen last month and it's a massive miss. I have replaced it with an htc phone which is decent enough but it's not iPhone. It's all down to personal preference. Im waiting now for the new iPhone as I didn't want to shell out all that money for an iPhone 4 only for it to be out of date in a few months time. I've never had a problem with any apple products and my iPad is one of the best bits of kit I have ever owned.
