Well it got suggested so I thought I would do it!
I'm 33 and live in Tunbridge Wells. I'm not disgusted though...
First Spurs match i went to was a 5-2 loss to villa when lineker missed a penalty. Stand out matches I have been to: spurs 3 Man U 5; spurs 3 man city 4 but the best was v inter Milan when we won 3-1 a few years back. I've never heard white hart lane rocking like that night.
Anyway my favourite films are the Godfather, Scarface, schindlers list and I have a soft spot for Forest Gump although I'm sure that will divide opinion. Anyone recommend any good thrillers with twists? I like things like The Usual Suspects, the illusionist, primal fear etc. this may be a boring thread to some people so feel free to ignore if you are not interested!

As Is suggested it I'll be second. I'm 39 and was brought up just outside Charing in Kent. My first match was Spurs v Nottingham Forest when Archie and Garth Crooks first joined. I live in Italy and work in Marine Insurance. My favourite films are Rainman and Jumanji but as I've said I like films with good acting ie Carrie with Sissy Spacek.

I retired at 58, a former dictator. World Domination had ceased to be so attractive following the early retirement of Sean Connery. I moved a long way north of London and fought a revolution in a small village, not entirely successfully. Among many interests I have been known to make noises on a saxophone having long since realised that blowing your own trumpet tends to bore people.

Favourite films; Phew I have a long list but what I can remember off the top of my head: Dr.Strangelove, The Life of Brian, The Godfather, 3 days of the Condor, Conversations with my Gardener, M. Hulot's Holiday, 2001, Amelie, Thunderbolt & Lightfoot, Master & Commander, Heat, Scent of a Woman, The Thomas Crown Affair (Original one) Bullitt, Tunes of Glory, 12 Angry Men, The Motorcycle Diaries and on and on and on.

Funny it's easier to remember the older films than one's I have watched recently. That's a few to keep you going. <ok>

Fav films: Heat, In Bruges, Snatch, Airplane 1 and 2, Monty Python & the Holy Grail and The Sea Inside (early Javier Bardem movie). Could go on .......

Some great films on your list Spurf that I could easily have doubled up on!!

I'm over 60. After attending music college, i Started working life as a Pro musician, from there through a family business, I somehow ended up as a bond trader in the city. I did that job for various banks for some 20 years before retiring about 7-8 years ago.
First Spurs game? It's that long ago that I'm not sure I remember exactly. But, I think it was against Fulham at WHL In 1958-9
Favourite films? Well, most of them have already been mentioned. the Godfather, Life Of Brian, Shawshank Redemption, amongst others.

Hi I'm YV, I'm 24 and I'm an alcoho.... sorry wrong place.

I don't really have a favourite film, I don't even watch most films more than once or twice, same with books.

Best atmosphere at White Hart Lane I'd say was the second half of the second leg against, maybe it's just my memory of it but it felt like we sung Martin Jol's blue and white army for the whole second half, even in the North Upper where I was. I had no voice for days after. The first game where I have much memory of the match was a boxing Day game against Soton, we won 3-1. I was a bit of a hyper kid so wasn't too good at paying attention to the game which is why my Dad stopped taking me when I was younger, I remember this match clearly though and going wild when Iverson scored as he was one of my favourite players. I spent the next day trying to take freekicks and generally play like Le Tiss down the park too with my new Mitre ball.

Is this going to turn into one of those "post a picture of yourself" threads?

Sidney I know exactly where you are from Hartfield! I lived in Groombridge for about 20 years!
I work as a procurement manager for the uk's largest berry company. Lots of travelling but it's good. Don't get up to see Spurs as much as I would like (wife and kid hopefully on the way plus weekend working).
I will have a look at some of those films. I'm definitely liking the older films more. There are exceptions but I find its more quantity than quality nowadays. I'm going to get the motorcycle diaries out as previously suggested I like the sound of that.

53 years old, born and bred in Lewes in East Sussex but have been living in Ashford in Kent since 1998. Grandfather and mother moved to Sussex in 1938 from Ardleigh Road (just off the Balls Pond Road) so probably closer to the goons than Tottenham but when my Grandfather moved there in in 1908 the goons were still down in Woolwich. Incidently he moved there from Scouseland but that is another story. First match was Spurs v Citeh in 1968, as for films most have already been mentioned i.e. Godfather, life of Brian but others like Trainspotting, Blazing Saddles, Spinal Tap, Clockwork Orange deserve a mention.

Left school at 16, tiled roofs for a few years, had a couple of roofing businesses. The delivered milk for 3 years, did a bit more roofing, decided to go to University. I had to do a foundation year (crash course at A level standard) Then did a Civil Engineering degree. Got a 2:1. Became a geotechnical engineer (my first missus when asked said that I dug holes and then filled them in again for a living). Spent a few years mining in Africa: Eritrea, Liberia, Sierra Leone. Second wife is from Eritrea.

I also preferred music to films, Bob Marley, aco Miller, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, Stones, Led Zep, Neil Young, Bowie, Doors, Clash, Blockheads, Lou Reed & the Velvets.

Would like to retire but a busted leg meant at least 36 k has evaporated from my bank account this year plus the credits cards took a battering. Me thinks i'll put off retiring until I die, or 99 which ever comes first. (My great grandfather on my mothers maternal side lived to be 101 so I stand a chance). My body is knackered, my back (skiing crash), my knees (playing rugby), (Ledley and me have a few things in common) and my hip (just life). Anyway I can't exercise because things swell up if I do. Swimming is the only exercise I can get away with. I ought to buy shares in Deep Heat, I always smell of it. I stand on a speak your weight machine it says 'One at a time please' Enough of my moaning.....

Should have said best match was Ar5ena1 but the Milan match was excellent as well.

My name is OringalSUFFERINGSpur, I'm 34 and I am an alcoholic! Huzzah!

I live in a small place you have never heard of on the south coast in Sussex (yes, another one who has escaped the smog of old London) not far from the Battle of Not-actually-in Hastings. I write stuff for people who can't be arsed to do it themselves. I am the reason, though, that spellcheckers were invented. I am currently live underneath a desk in an office that I am only allowed out on occasion as I am trying to write my magnificent octopus. When I am allowed out I usually run away to the pub. My favourite films are (in no particular order):

Dead Poets Society, It's a Wonderful Life, Shawshank Redemption, The Admirable Crighton, Dark City, Pleasantville, To Sir, With Love, Serenity, Seven, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, Back To the Future....... and loads of others I've forgotten.

Oringal, do you do Battel Bonfire? Get drunk in the Kings Head or the 1066? A member of the Cliffe in Lewes myself. Anyone who doesn't understand what I'm on about Google 'Cliffe Bonfire Society'.

Though been in the area for more years than I can remember I have never been to neither Battle Bonfire nor Lewes Bonfire. But spent many a summer Saturday afternoon in the 1066 and the Kings Head. Sometimes the Chequers or the Squirrel if someone was willing to drive. My old boss from a while back was a member of one of the Lewes bonfire societies but can't remember which one now. But worked in Lewes for a bit and joined the hasty retreat out of the town every 5th November as residents boarded up their homes in readiness for the invasion.
