Hope we start Morgan with Sterling and Enrique either side and Gerrard behind... But BR will play Shelvey with Sterling and Enrique probably, which isn't bad either - I'd just like to see Morgan get a run out, the coaching team reckon he's the next one who 'could' move up, ahead of Yesil in progress.
I see your memory is failing you again -perhaps its a congenital defect amongst Bitters? Now let me remind you. Carroll was loaned out before the season started. We played you on your midden and put the ball in the net 3 times even without a true No9. As for fellini - the most over-rated player in the division but still probably too good for your outfit
I've tried to scrub the game away as well. Doesn't work though. The amount of dropped points tis year already, and we are meant to be having a really ****ty year as well, is astounding. You take the Everton and City games only, that would be us on 23 points, all square with Everton and Swansea in that 5-7 spot and 3 points off 4th. Always seems to happen with us. Why a draw on the weekend is probably what is going to happen even though we have 40 shots, 90% possession to there 2 shots 10 %.............1-1.
It's not exactly a new thing. We did it all last season too. Plus, we drew a lot of games despite dominating under Rafa, see the 2008-09 season for really frustrating
Your grainy internet stream must have been on the blink that day lid, as we've played you once this season - at Goodison & it was 2 a piece. Oh & it's Fellaini btw & he's a class act irrespective of your clueless opinion
"Put the ball in the net" 3 times divvy Exactly what we did. Unfortunately the coin tossers behind the linesman gave Suarez offside when even his teeth were 3 yards on.
And he's working for Warrior now We'd need to start playing Carra more though to utilise the "hoof ball" option to full potential.
I know and that is the point, we have been stuck in that rut for far too long, different managers, players, it is like a veil of underachieving that jus seems to hang over us.
Imo there are only two choices Morgan - scoring goals at U21 level, runs his socks off, did better than anyone could have expected against one of the Europa league's meanest defences. But is he ready to cope with West Ham's physical approach? Shelvey - Good attacking instincts, always makes positive runs, but lacking in pace and isn't exactly our physically strongest player or experienced at holding up possesion in a False 9 role - imo just as much of a gamble as Morgan.
I think that is one area he has improved massively actually. He has bulked up since last year and does have that nastiness to his game to not be afraid of a challenge. Might be what the doc ordered for WH.
Since the sale of N'gog, Own Goal has been our 2nd best striker. Let's stick Own Goal there btw Sterling and Enrique. Or better still...Ngoo.
