You will certainly be favourites in the return fixture and rightly so. You are the European champions and you have a squad which cost the best part of £300m to assemble.

However you couldn't beat Fulham at home a few days ago and they are below us in the table so I wouldn't completely rule us out.

The Allardyce hoofball taunts are wearing a bit thin. Most rival fans have accepted that we actually play some pretty good stuff at times. Allardyce is exactly what we need for a few years to stabilize us as a club. We might not be playing the pretty, passing football we have all grown up with but it is effective and it will do for now whilst we look to establish ourselves again in the top flight.

A few years of scrapping and winning football matches won't wipe out 100 years of history and tradition.

Very proud of how we outclassed you yesterday. One of our most comfortable wins of the season in the end.

I was only pulling your ear a bit re: the football. In truth even I'd admit the style of football is not that bad. None of your goals yesterday came from set pieces or hoofball anyway.

It was a game of two halves. In the first half we totally outclassed you and should have been about 4-0 up, 2nd half you went up a gear or two and we couldn't live with it. I've seen West Ham beat us many a time so it hurts but I'll be over it soon.

The fact is our players are devoid of confidence and no real belief, it's a shadow of the team that won at White Hart Lane and the Emirates comfortably. We were as hard working as anyone then, especially at the Emirates against an in form (almost full strength) Arsenal side.

You should be proud, your side outclassed us yesterday, but it'll be different at Stamford Bridge.

One of the reasons that we won also is because your 25 Million foreign players don't understand what these derbys mean to us fans, but English players do.

 

You need Ray Wilkins back, since he has gone you have suffered in the league.

 

Maybe an over simplification but Wilkins should never have been sacked.

 

Yea, we still do play some pretty nice football thanks, but we also mix that up with "hoofball" if you want to call it that. I am just pleased that we are not the lightweights we have predominantly been in the past and as we showed you, we have the muscle to overpower teams when needed.
