1st: Alonso 2nd: Vettle 3rd: Hammilton 4th: Kimi 5th: Jenson 6th: Hulk 7th: Webber 8th: Perez 9th: ? 10th:? Special mention: To both Rosberg & Mandando for their maiden wins.
1st: Lewis 2nd: Vettel 3rd: Alonso 4th: Kimi 5th: Webber 6th: Hulk 7th: Kamui 8th: Perez 9th: Maldonado 10th: Schumacher Special Mention: Button and Grosjean, both quick just far too inconsistent and both got destroyed by their team mates this year with the best cars of the season. When the car got worse it was Lewis or Kimi that picked up the pieces while they would fail to get into the points of just crash into everybody. Both just get beat by Schumacher to 10th in my opinion.
1st: Hamilton 2nd: Alonso 3rd: Vettel 4th: Kimi 5th: Hulk 6th: Button 7th: Perez 8th: Maldonado 9th: Webber 10th: Rosberg for the first half and Massa for the second half of the season. Special mention: To Hulk again for proving how Dire Di Resta was/is!
1-Alo - Outstanding this season. 2-Vet - Has the ability to push in the field and lead the pack to perfection. 3-Ham - Some exceptional performances inlcuding Qualifying this season. 4-Rai - The car has been great, and the performance has been there also. 5-Hul - A potential great IMO. 6-Msc - Terrible luck and a couple of incidents, other than that he has defended very well, inc. pole in Monaco and wet weather Quali's. 7-Perez - Another future star. 8-Mal - Out driven the Williams on many occasion. 9-Button - Changing conditions have been an ease for Button. 10-Massa - Challenged Alonso on some occasions, and the way the team is structured, that is something very good.
Alonso Vettel Hamilton Raikkonen Button Hulkenberg Schumacher Webber Rosberg Perez Special Mention to Kobayashi who just misses out and Massa for the strong half of the year (although his first was far to bad for him to make the list) Just on another note how the hell can anyone put Maldonado in their top ten. Some great pace but it means nothing if you crash out. Top 10 fastest almost certainly, but maximizing race day results is a big part of being the "best driver" and he did that twice out of 20 races. Both Williams cars should have scored 100 points IMHO, so that makes it a big failure for both him and Senna.

Button named best British competition driver by Autosport!!?? http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104699 Really!? Not di resta?
Same reason why I find it amazing why somebody would put Jenson in the top 5 with having the best car for a majority of the season and very often failing to use it unlike his team mate who was in the title fight most of the way, opinion.
Yeah obviously there all opinions it wasn't meant as a criticism more of wondering why it seems such a popular choice and hoping for a reason since i'd have put him about 19th. With Button i'm aware its looks a little high, but i think past the big 4 there was a big gulf in quality to the rest. My reasoning was that everyone below that was patchy at best and im struggling to imagine any of them would have scored more points in his place. Might edit Hulkenberg above him.
Ignore what I say about your list, you believe what your choice is and I wouldn't want to change that because that would be wrong of me to do so.
I didn't say we shouldn't discuss it I just gave you an answer to your question why some people put in Maldonado in their top 10. No attack on your list, just pointing out it's an opinion *shrugs* what do you expect etc... Nothing against your list of course, just like I said, giving you an answer to your question, sorry if it wasn't the one you were after. I'm sure someone else here will give you it though
You'd put Maldonado 19th? So who would place below him then!? The guy won a race and being harrased by Alonso for half of it!!!

1st: Hamilton. 2nd: Alonso. 3rd: Vettel. 4th: Kimi. 5th: Hulkenberg. 6th: Perez. 7th: Webber. 8th: Maldonado. 9th: Kobayashi. 10th: Massa. Special mention: Jenson Button - Not his season for whatever reason but I will always remember how well he drove at Brazil, Spa and Aus.
1) Lewis Hamilton 2) Kimi Raikkonen 3) Fernando Alonso 4) Sebastian Vettel 5) Nico Hulkenburg 6) Paul Di Resta (lets not forget he beat Vettel in F3) 7) Nico Rosberg 8) Romain Grosjean 9) Mark Webber 10) Sergio Perez special mentions to: Michael Schumacher pole position Charles Pic for an impressive debut in difficult conditions Kobayashi podium
1) Fernando Alonso 2) Lewis Hamilton 3) Kimi Raikkonen 4) Sebastian Vettel 5) Nico Hulkenberg 6) Mark Webber 7) Jenson Button 8) Sergio Perez 9) Romain Grosjean 10) Pastor Maldonado
Valid point Silver. However, that got me thinking, how could any of us put Webber in the top ten then? I question my own list now!
