I haven't seen much of him, but to me he looks like more of a box to box midfielder. I'm not saying we couldn't do with him and that sort of penetration, but I think we need a player who's going to sit deep and break up play, win the ball and pass quickly to our forward players.

I know he is on the final year of his contract, but I can't see Schalke just letting him for £6 Mil. With him in their team, they have the chance to get CL football, and that's worth a lot more than £6 Mil.
