Now, I know that we're largely likely to avoid any of this due to:

    1. Not asking for league games to be postponed for Euro games

    2. Not having a pitch lovingly referred to as "Loch Temporary"

    3. Hopefully not having too many more draws in cup games (and by that, I don't mean hopefully losing any<ok>)

    4. There's a winter break this year - hopefully meaning no call-offs from ludicrous weather

But, is the United game being cancelled for the replay at Gayfield the game we have in hand?

Should we drop into the Europa and get through a couple of rounds, would we be cancelling games thereafter (and would the Thursday night thing mean a lot of games getting moved?)?

Thing is, we've been playing catch-up all season - we've had a game in hand for most of the season (Damn Glamourfriendlies<grr>).

Is a run in Europe after Christmas, coupled with managing to remain in the two domestic cups going to lead to us having 3 or 4 games in hand in the league at any point?

Might not seem a particularly cogent point but I'm trying to take my mind off the Spartak game for the rest of today.

Very difficult to answer the question you posed without the knowledge of what is going to happen in the future.
The one thing I do know that only we know that Scottish Football Authorities are totally impartial at all times
people could have thought that they were out to make it acceptionally difficult for Celtic this season as there
was either International call-ups or League cup or league matches fitted in-between the Champions League
fixture. We must not complain as we all know their is another team down Govan way which would love
to have our situation or problems but won't have for many a year.

I'm sure it'll be fine - I listed a couple of reasons why in the OP.

It's just that our fine combatative form in Europe coupled with lacklustre domestic performances (particularly in cups) like Saturday looks like a recipe for ending up with a backlog.

If we beat Arbroath, then draw with Rovers, would another league game be postponed?

There's already more midweek games scheduled this year to accomodate the winter break - the unseasonably early snow could mean we end up with games being cancelled at short notice due to the weather as well so a big pile of games to play in April is not out of the question.

Trevor, where I come from it is respectful to speak in hush voice about the dead. It is only crude unclean angry
trouble-makers like yourself that uses the Dead for their evil jealous out burstings. Rangers are dead and most of us
    cannot forget what they did.

Huns are going to boycott Tannadice in the upcoming cup game , bit unfair on united , all they did was beat them fair and square this time last year in the cup and push them into administration .Why are Sevco fans so thick ???

It annoys me how deluded your fans are , still blaming everyone bar the people that killed your club Murray and Whyte .

If your not blaming united , why are your fans planning a boycott of the cup game ??? Or is it more simple your fans don't want to see their team thumped out the cup .

Thompson is not a very popular man amongst the Rangers fans. We won't ever spend a penny in his stadium again <ok>

A lot of Scottish chairman have upset me over the years , never stopped me going to watch my team . Remember Murray barred us from Ibrox for no reason then the sfa changed the rules so we couldn't do it back . Do you remember how corrupt Scottish football was in favour of Rangers ??

To be fair, most of them boycotted the last cup game against Dundee Utd so at least they're being consistent.
