Well, that's not exactly what the Daily Fail says, but the Spanish passing maestros do get a mention in our match report Happy days indeed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...res-best-team-goal-Premier-League-season.html
Then there's this from the Daily Telegraph from being compared to Barcelona in one report...... (gulp) to 1p5wich Down in the other??
Honestly, write us off at your peril. As a team we are fearless at the moment, after wins against Arsenal and Man u and will front up to anyone.
It's a bit annoying, no one would say that about Swansea or QPR (mainly because QPR's players are experienced in the Premier League with their former clubs but are old and overrated). But it's hard to disagree. Looking at yesterday's starting line-up, with the exception of Bassong and Garrido. This is a very simplistic summary of the other players who started last night, and perhaps the view the media has on Norwich. Bunn - sub 'keeper, not too much first-team football. Whittaker - played in the SPL, roughly Championship standard R Bennett - bought in from Peterborough, only a few games last season in Premier League Tettey - bit of an unknown in England, still young B Johnson - Championship football with Leeds, only just a first team regular in the Premier League Snodgrass - see above Pilkington - good first season in Premier League last season, bought in from Huddersfield Hoolahan - been with Norwich from League 1 to Premier League, only second season in Premier League Holt - spent most of his career in lower leagues, now too old We know their real quality and it doesn't matter if the media ignores us. Also the key part of the quote from the Telegraph is the word 'ostensibly.' This means it appears to be a certain way, but probably actually isn't. So the team appears to be a Championship quality team (take note of the list I did above), but probably isn't.
cromer, i've just seen the article in the paper version. there is a picture of tettey challenging C Wick, but they describe Tettey as Seb Bassong lazy journalism
