...before I loose hope. Leslie left big mess behind him and we can't expect Harry to clear it in a week. First of all Harry must get to know his players, their abilities and their flaws. Then he must find his formation and players that will fit the best. Then you have style of play. It's fair to say under Leslie we had none and Harry must build from scraps. We've seen some improvements but nothing special. The lack of strikers is worries me the most. Hands down for Mackie but he's not a striker and you can tell buy his movement on the field. On the other hand it seems Cisse doesn't give a sh*t. If Harry could make him word harder for the team I think he would be far better solution. So to conclude I still believe.

Take a lesson from us pessimists. I already have us relegated in my head and have dealt with it. That's the logical conclusion from our position and the problems with our squad that injuries and MH have left us. I will still cheer the lads on every game and if 'Arry ****s a miracle no one will relish it more than I will.

    I agree.

There's been signs of improvement (defense, work rate, ball retention) but the main thing lacking is the belief that we can score enough goals.

We need that to return and quickly but at least the players don't necessarily think we'll get beaten every game - we need to build on that before any momentum generated by the new manager disappears.

December will be make or break for this season, If we do well Harry may think with the right players we will have a 'chance', however if it's looking 'dickie' and lets face it, it probably will, then who would blame the gaffer for preparing for next season. I won't.

TF waited too long, but I can forgive him if he stays quiet and lets Harry build. Either for this season or the next.

Could be worse, we could be chelsea.

    Come on you R'ssss

It's best to concede we're done for, then anything else would be a bonus. Even if we go down, I'd back Harry to get us straight back up...

If we go down I'm not so sure Arry will be around next season, but that's another problem for another day. We got every chance of staying up -23 games to go, only 7 points adrift - we got everything to play for.

It's possible that we will win 2 games in a row and both Readind and Soton will loose both of the matches and then we would be in the game again. Stranger things have happened.

Escape goats? ... Life is what it is and there are 69 points still to play for and you are ready to cash in after just 6!

    WTF are you on about

Life is what it is ... adapt

No I'm not going to stop supporting the team but right as it may sound crazy I'm not even thinking about relegation. It doesn't exist for me for the reasons you already wrote. But if I don't see a better team after a month I wont be happy. It has nothing to do with my support

Well I hope hoops fans at the coming home games don't have that same attitude. Wouldn't be a nice home atmosphere of a stadium full of supporters who have already conceded we're doomed. Anyone that has given up the ghost no matter how bad it looks is as bad as the players being criticized for not giving a ****. Just a couple of facts...

This time last year we had 16 points from 15 games (10 points better off than we are now). But in the next 13 games we got only 6 points (1 win 3 draws 9 losses). So to put it simplistically, to match last season we need 16 points from 13 games which is not in any way impossible..but yes needs us to get better.
Last season Wigan were looked on as certs to go down....they were on 22 points after 29 games. But in their last 9 games they amassed 21 points. (7 wins 2 defeats) avoiding relegation by 7 points. That turn of form was completely out of the blue as the previous 14 games they had only 1 win.

Basically we need a turn of form, a win to start the ball rolling, confidence to surge, a striker to hatch from somewhere (maybe Keane on short term) but it is far from over.

The players won't lose support from the fans so long as they continue to give 100% as (most) did on Sat. Nothing wrong with hoping for the best, but planning for the worst.

There's probably a, what, 75% chance we'll go down at present, and that goes up by increments for each game we don't win.

It sounds as if, by his refusal to let owners pay out panic money in Jan, Harry is realistic about the prospects and about making a success of things in the Championship next season if the worst happens. We can bounce back up if owners keep their nerve and Harry buys and sells prudently with the aid of our scouting system. I'm sure he's spending time thinking about this now. He should be.

That perspective won't stop me cheering them on at every game I go to, nor hoping we do stay up. I'm just being realistic enough to know it's NOT the end of the world if we do go down and Harry, given time, will get us right. If we're lucky we may just get a head of steam up and that would be my unexpected bonus!...

Apart the Southampton game I haven't seen anything to worry about ... Players that have been slagged off on here will become heroes again as I am sure that our current heroes will fall into the hands of the fickle infected. We have the best QPR squad ever IMO and these players don't forget how to play!!! OK we aren't a good team at the moment but I believe we play our part. I believe what you put out there ... happens. You don't have to agree I don't expect you to do so Singing only when you are winning is simply not good enough.

We let ourselves down BADLY with the Swansea and Southampton games. Reading at home was also a big disappointment. Drawing with Norwich away I wouldn't say was a bad result. I thought we showed enough in many games to be optimistic but often our good half of football was being overshadowed by the other half being worse (like Spurs away, West Ham, Man Utd etc). We need a game where it all clicks, and heads don't go down. We have too many players that just lose heart when the going gets tough.

We didn't let ourselves down at the Swansea game at all ... We did at the Saints game. The outcome of a game can't always be associated by the scoreline. I didn't worry after the Swansea game, I did after the Saints game because of the importance of it at the time The season of games to us fans is distorted IMO ... if we stay up on the last game then the slate gets wiped clean. The enigma of why we aren't playing as well as we believe we should is something i can't dwell on i'm afraid. We can say now on this date that we got a great point at Norwich based on their recent success yet they may still be relegated ... such is the madness of the league. It changes from one week to the next. I thought at the time we played well against both Swansea and Norwich what is funny to me is how people change with the wind. I am just a QPR fan and to be honest I am not afraid of anything the future brings. This season has been fantastic so far for me and i am loving every minute of it ... I have missed it being in France and bugger it i may drive to Wigan Saturday and if we win ... what will they say? well its was only Wigan. Im my world you never stop until all is lost
