Morning Everyone, How is everyone? Three wins in a row, thank goodness. We are climbing the table. If we continue our winning streak, we should be in the play offs by Christmas/ New Year, agree??? Two more goals from Becchio, thats puts him on 12, seven more than Berbatov .... Must admit I feared the worse when we went one nil down, next time I got an update (from my secretary) we were 3-2 up ... Have we found the right formula now? Should we keep rotating the squad? How much of a lift was it to have McCormack starting? I thought to myself before the match, I bet Clayton scores, anyone else?
Morning Elland Hope you keep your run going and we both make the playoffs this season would like to see Hull and Hudders get there too We just love playing Yorkshire teams in the playoffs
Morning all. Wouldn't mind having a crack at your'e lot in the final Mighty. Wasn't terribly impressed with them the other week when beating our old team. Don't think you'd have a chance against our sparkling, brand new, all winning Leeds team
Morning lads I'd release them all, plus Pugh. Make room for the inevitable quality we're going to bring in!
what about Connolly !! While we are releasing wages, I hope somma comes back in to the fold as well, if he is fit it will be like a new signing !!
Morning all Bloody hell, we do have some utter crap left on the wage book. We could almost make a team out of the dross left behind. Rachubka Connelly Bromby Kisnorbo Pugh Rogers Nunez Varney Gray
NW must be smiling at TA today, with Austin and Somma on the fringes of returning giving him a nice selection headache, winning ways back and everyone working as a unit, did everyone notice when we scored how everyone celebrated, especially the loan signings, just hope it may continue. But we must all remember NO easy games in the CL, Derby will be tough as i watched the full game out here live, and festa were under the cosh for a good period in the 2nd half with that jammy dane in goal making a crucial save with his foot, which would of made it 2-2. Keep it going you mighty whites.................MOT
Not so sure about Rogers. Yet. He hasn't had a chance to prove himself IMO. Hopefully the loan out will work for him, but I think his days are numbered anyway if our loan signings are made permanent. Pugh is another guy I'd hesitate to get rid of. I've always thought he's put in decent performances when called upon, and in different positions too. Perhaps worth keeping as a utility man? Deffo get rid if someone offers some money for him!
Christ, forgot about Connolly, Bromby and Nunez. Bromby's out of contract in the summer anyway I think? Might as well release him a couple of months early. Grayson gave Nunez a 4 year deal last year didn't he? hopefully we can offload him to someone daft enough to take him. Connolly shouldn't have too many problems finding a new club, plus I think he's out of contract at the end of the season anyway. I'd keep Gray until the end of the season, when he's played I think he's done alright, and he was only ever a stop gap until Somma's fit anyway
By all accounts Rogers isn't exactly setting the league alight with Stevenage. I don't think he's going to be of much use to us unfortunately. We'll see. Could keep Pugh until the end of the season I suppose, but he is our fourth choice LB (Peltier, Drury, White) our sixth choice CM (Austin, Tonge, Norris, Green, Brown) and our fourth/fifth choice LM (Thomas, Hall, White, Varney). Yeah he's versatile but is he worth keeping, really?
