    alonso back,wouldnt it be great to get that guy back,go on offer real 40 million and see what they say.
    we have great kids coming through in various departments of our team and with xabi oh crikey just go for it, and get owen as back up striker on a rolling contract,get insua back and see how much forlan would cost from athletico.
    or am i being daft?:undecided::confused:<cracker>:emoticon-0104-surpr

    Alonso- I'd love him back but 40M? Really?! We could spend that sort of money buying a couple of crackin wingers.
    Owen- No. Just no.
    Insua- Not sure about him. Probably not.
    Forlan- No.

    <ok>

    Alonso was class no doubt (nice fella btw too - he used to play tennis at my local gym!) but he's gone for good I reckon, he's getting on a bit as well and Fenway are looking for young blood.

    Sahin of Dortmund is also a deep lying playmaker and he is up for sale for some ridiculously cheap price.

    Alonso.Top bloke,Great player,Still have a lot of time for him and wish him every success,but time to move forward not backwards.
    Owen.No,No,No.He sold his soul to Baconface,and shouldn't even come back as dressing room sweeper upper.He's a money-grabbing scumbag.
    Sahin,Now you're talking,From what I've heard he's just exactly the sort of player we need,and fits the FSG blue-print.

    Sahin is agreeing a pre-agreement with Real, so it would take something hefty from us pry him from that. I have said from day 1 banega is the best option, but I would not turn down a cheap Gago ( joke in there somewhere).

    We could get Gago on the cheap as Real are planning a clear out,its widely reported.I also think we should make a cheeky bid for Karim Benzema.He's not getting games as Maureen prefers Higuain.

    hmm Benzema on his day is no doubt a great footballer but there is something about him I don't like. Maybe character or attitude? I know he has tons of ability just something about him puts me off. Then again, I thought we had a loyal player in torres...

    Suppose you're right.Kenny doesn't tolerate sulky players,and after all Benzema is french.They are well known sulks ie Anelka.

    Xabi doesn't fit FSG profile, and would cost too much. Owen i'd rather shag Jordan than see that $%^&*( back in a Liverpool shirt.

    However, i get a feeling they'll be at least one signing that'll make us all sit up and say "wow".

    Owen is at the best place for crocked former internationals.They are well suited,anyway Hargreaves needs company on the treatment table.

    If he does go to Madrid then you could go for some of their cast off midfielders like Granero and Gago. Both are excellent passers and will probably be motivated to prove Madrid wrong just as VDV, Sneijder, Robben etc did. Madrid are also likely to offload Kaka and Benzema in the summer, you might not need Benzema but imagine if you could get Kaka back to his best...

    Kaka will probably go to City.He's been messed up big time since he left Milan for the loot at Real Madrid,He's likely to leave one circus act for a bigger circus act.

    I reckon the best bet would be Steven Defour.He's had a bad injury and his stock may have dropped slightly,However he can't be any more than 24,if he would land him for say £10 million max,I reckon it would be a steal.
