All the teams that have been promoted in the last few seasons have spent in January, it's part and parcel of the game nowadays. Thankfully you can make that business if you've got the league position to back it up
We look very good at times ... but we have also been vulnerable too ... provided the foirwards keep up the recent good displays and if Wellens and Danns are returning to the fold, then the only position I'd really like to add to is bringing in a really good left-back - just think Konch stands out as a weak link to be targeted by teams with managers with some nouse ... love both Liam Moore and Jeff Schlupp so don't want to see them disappearing from the first team scene ... Liam is a better defenbder than De Laet... but De Laet is very useful going foraward
i expect both Hull and Leicester to bring in one or two players and give it one hell of a go for a promotion place.. We need a Goal scorer if we are to kick on in the new year..
I think Moore may go out on loan somewhere he can ply his trade at CB- an upper league 1 club for example. He has a future at CB at this club, I rate both Whitbread and SSL but both are injury-prone and getting on a bit.
I dont think we will sign many. It all depends on if Nigel can get people like Gallagher, Wellens, Beckford, Danns off the books. They are all on high wages after Sven gave them contracts. If we can get rid of them then Nigel can then improve the squad. Aslong as Waggy and Nugent continue their form and Vardy books his ideas up then I think we are fine for goals Hull just need someone to replace Fryatt while he is injured. You already have a few loans so you probably need to spend money to buy one. You could always check the German second division if you want value for money

We need a backup LB, GK and ballwinning CM. TBH I am hoping that NP and Walsh are looking at more lower league gems as they will be backups but will be more eager to break into the first team.
Schlupp is the back up left back. Aslong as Konchesky doesnt get a long term injury we are fine for cover at left back. Ritchie De Laet can also play left back We dont need a keeper. Should Kasper miss a game or 2 then Logan can cover and should he miss more then that Pearson can go into the loan market Ball winning midfielder is Danny Drinkwater
Aslong as we dont get any injuries then I dont think we desperately need anyone. But if we get a few injuries then we would need some loans in to cover. Nigel has already said he will only sign players if its right for the club and the team. We dont need to sign people for the sake of it
