That first half was an inept performance as I have ever seen from a Sunderland side We had enough chances in the 2nd half to have won the game comfortably. This was the best we have played this season and the contrast was shocking A strange game of football.
aye if we were being hammered maybe i would be moaning like a lot of people but we played quality second half and deserved to win imo.. atm were unlucky as **** and that will change
but we must play for 90 minutes, 45 minutes from being a goal down is not good enough. Mind, there first goal could have been offside, Killa's miss, save from Sess, hitting post............... Norwich - beatable, but unbeaten in 7, tells you something.
Yeah, the team who in their last 4 home games they beat Manchester United, Arsenal, Spurs and Stoke. What ****e we're much better than the lot they've beaten, it's a ****ing disgrace we lost... First half we were ****ing awful, but second half we were all over them, they scored two we only managed one, the most important thing for me was the second half performance. Relegated to third division? 15 and 19 point seasons? all contained performances far more inept than the first half today - how long have you been watching the side Apone? By half time we were pretty unlucky to be behind - their first goal was off side - as has been said luck has played a massive part in our points total. Look at the last 5 games - all except QPR we have been the better side and played well and created chances - but got very little to show. Everton, West Brom, Fulham and Norwich we deserved more than we got in all the games. You cannot legislate for the amount of bad luck we've had and if you blame O'Neill for the lack of luck then you have to be kidding
Luckily I missed the first half. Am I wrong to think that was a hell of a showing second half. From the second half alone I thought we deserved to win that. Oh how different it would have been with Fletcher still on. Hopefully MON takes that second half on board and sets us up to go out and play like that from the start. I'm pretty sure he isn't saying to the lads go out and play ****e for the first half. Lets give the players some of the load, they are the ones playing the ****.
