H- truly sorry for the sad news of your friend. NZ- thanks for the projection idea, but no flat ceiling here I am afraid as my bedroom used to store animal feed.
Not fair at all, Frenchie, but then it's not exactly "slaving". I do it for love not money...something to keep my brain working in retirement. It is available as a paperback too, if that would make life easier.
Feel for you H , Mrs N `s mum is on the death bed too , the cancer has spread to her brain , she is hanging on for Mrs N to get there ,she flew out again today ,has spent 3weeks with her mum a week here and will be away to the end now . Then in the |new year we can concentrate on Mrs N`s health and her fight against cancer .
Morning all, hope everyone is ok and coping today. Best wishes to those who are going through rough times. Somehow as each week goes by I am reminded more about the GT seasons. Can't defend, but can score goals used to be the comment. Probably too simplistic when you look back at some of the excellent defenders we had. For his age Hoban is very good judging by all the praise he receives. Could he be the first big money sale in a year or twos time?
Morning all - beautiful winters morning in bandit country. Thick frost early but a lovely clear sky and great to be out and about. Xmas trees were delivered on Friday and I have cut and hacked them enough to get them in their stands - will spend the afternoon watching TV and putting the lights on the tree in the lounge. Was interesting watching the MLS final last night... Come on AFC Wimbeldon, smash The Bletchley Stealers this afternoon and then the draw...please, please, please 51 v 40
Morning all. Today, for one day only, I am an AFC Wimbledon fan. I really hope they show the world how good they are.
Feel dirty even typing this, but that Franchise FC goal was an amazing strike. Hopefully the Dons can turn it around in the second half.
I don't like the idea of this match being replayed in South London in a tight ground on a weekday night...
Such a shame for the Wombles. Marshall made a massive save in the 89th minute. What a match though, a great advert for the FA cup.
Whoever paid for the highlights have got their money's worth today. The first goal was a stunner, I was as emotional about the second as I've ever been about a non Watford or England goal, and the winner was one of the most unbelievable things I've ever seen on a football pitch. Gutted about the result, but what a watch. And fair play to Karl Robinson for defending the AFC fans who were slightly out of their seats when they celebrated their goal. That was simply pure joy, and the exact opposite of the last pitch invasion I can remember.
Morning all. A couple of nights ago I dreamt that we played City in the 3rd round of the cup. I think we won 2-0. We play United in the final. Unfortunately the dream ended before the final finished but we were winning that too.
H I hope you do not suffer to much when your friend does go. I know from my own father this station is not a good place to be, my father was healthy one day and a month later he had gone but the deteriorating was fast and he was in a sort of mid place for nearly three weeks. My brother suffered badly with this, perhaps he was worse than my mother. You have my best thoughts.
I have a book version. The idea of an electronic book is not right to me I want something I can have in my hand with paper pages.
