As I said at the start of thread, you simply can't teach what this kid has. He is a complete natural in front of goal.
Guess what? He scored again for the under 21's today. But, he played the full 90 minutes and with the Olympiacos game being played on Tuesday, I doubt he will now be involved in that game. Looks like Wenger is only using him in the League Cup this season. Gnabry and Yennaris were not involved, so I suspect those two will be in the squad, Gnabry could start.
http://arsenalyouth.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/arsenal-include-gnabry-in-champions-league-squad/ Arsenal Champions League squad: List A: 1. Wojciech Szczesny, 2. Abou Diaby, 3. Bacary Sagna, 4. Per Mertesacker, 5. Thomas Vermaelen, 6. Laurent Koscielny, 7. Tomas Rosicky, 8. Mikel Arteta, 9. Lukas Podolski, 11. Andre Santos, 12. Olivier Giroud, 14. Theo Walcott, 15. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 16. Aaron Ramsey, 18. Sebastien Squillaci, 19. Santi Cazorla, 20. Johan Djourou, 21. Lukas Fabianski, 23. Andrey Arshavin, 24. Vito Mannone, 25. Carl Jenkinson, 27. Gervinho, 28. Kieran Gibbs, 29. Marouane Chamakh, 47. Serge Gnabry. List B: Includes: 10. Jack Wilshere, 22. Francis Coquelin, 26. Emmanuel Frimpong plus others. Is Eisfeld not one of the players in list B?
Some guys said so on the Ja I should stop going on the Ja. Anyways I expect him to start vs Bradford. Team vs Olympiakos Mannone Jenk Djidiot Miquel Santos Coq Ramsey/Yennaris Rosicky Gnarby Giroud/Chammy Oxo/Gerv
Why are we not playing this guy? He was regarded higher than Mario Gotze by Dortmund before he got injured. He's too good for the reserves.
eisfeld has been good but if you keep up with the u21s you will find the star of the show in recent games is the catalan right back hector bellerin. Shame he plays at rb otherwise he would've been promoted early. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLUlOQvATB0&feature=g-high
When you think about some of the players we are taking to Greece, then there has to be an issue with Eisfeld and his eligibility to play in the CL. I do not think he qualifies for List B, and like Gnabry had to be put in list A. But clearly, when Wenger was drawing up that squad, he felt that Eisfeld was not ready and Gnabry was ahead off him.
