With January approaching who would you like to see out of the exit door?

I'd like to see the following leave if as a minimum we replace them:

    - Ranger
    - Obertan
    - Williamson

I'm certain we will be able to do better than these guys.

I think Willo would still be half decent cover.
I'd like to see Ranger and Willo go, plus a few of the fringe youth lads out on loan.
As ever it will depend on who we bring in.

In an ideal window, we'd get rid of Ranger, Willo, Gosling and buy 2 quality attacking midfielders, 1 quality winger, 1 non-potentially-African-cup-tied striker, and 1 CB and 1 RB.

In actuality, I see 1 signing and 1 major sell. Just how we operate. Pardew said last season he was allowed to keep his players because of their form together, Ashley was suitably convinced to invest a bit and see what could happen. As it turns out, they're not doing well, so back to the plan we go <ok>

The plan is buy in cheap, sell high, feeder club for Liverpool and up. Not a bad business, just not terribly rewarding for our fans, but I thank Ashley for at least leaving us a little while with a squad I thought had potential for great things. They don't, so rock on 2013! Let's see what gems we can uncover!

have to admit it's a bit of a buzz unearthing a gem and seeing him flourish.

I think Xisco should go, he's being played a lot of money, can't understand why he's never been given the opportunity to prove himself, if it's not going to happen, then get shot!

Dream on if anyone is sold it will be Ba, Tiote or Ben Arfa - perhaps even Krul.

The question was 'Who we would want to be transferred', none of those you mentioned would fall into that category!

It really is, but other clubs have done especially well in this regard now. Maiga is proving to be worth the hassle we couldn't be arsed with, Benteke looks class and clearly has something extra over Bent (which I like to call his "eke"), Michu is a superb player etc. What's happening less and less is Premier League clubs buying from the championship at extortionate prices... Would like to see Zaha step-up, but Crystal Palace are never going to get £7 million upwards for him with the strength of current scouting, so if he does come up it'll be with that club.

You know, if everyone on 606/not606 wasn't obsessed with him, I'd have forgotten he existed some time ago. I occasionally still do!

I'd like to see Williamson, Simpson, Obertan, Gosling & Marveaux shown the door. With a CB, RB, LW & CM brought in to replace them. I'd like James Morrison to be the CM, N'Zogba to be the LW (controversial choice but he's prem proven, only 25, suits 4-3-3 and would cost about 4/5 million)...not sure on the RB & CB!

None of the above is going to happen of course, I do however think both of Cabaye and Ba will both leave. I think not signing Debuchy in the summer hasn't sat well with Cabaye and with Man Utd and Arsenal both needing a CM I can see him leaving.

To be honest, I don't think Cabaye is good enough for Man Utd, but Arsenal I think he'd do alright at and his game might improve there.

Man Utd play football so that midfielders are often scorers, they keep possession well, utilize wingers well, and when some of the team are playing **** any one of them can step up and take the game away from the opposition. Cabaye doesn't score often enough, and to be fair his passing, so often lauded, has been miserable a lot of the time whilst here because he's not a consistent performer if the team around him aren't playing well. His tackling is often quite bad as well, and Man Utd defo don't need another CM who can't tackle.

I think if Arsenal offloaded Ramsey, he'd slot in there ok.

I think we should only get rid of Ba (that is if current rumours are to be believed - either that or him kicking up a fuss playing out wide). I do not want to see one other person leave until we have not only got the players we need to get us up to scratch and when their replacement arrives. We are threadbare as it is. If these players do come in then I would like to see leaving, along with Ba, Gosling, Williamson, Obertan, Simpson, Marveaux, Xisco.

Xisco I believe is in a similar stuation to Darren Bent. If he plays more games we've got a lump to pay. Pity really cause he was caught up in the Wise fiasco so never really had a chance. Come summer I'd also get rid of crocks like Gosling.
For me the ones I'd get shot of are Ranger, Williamson, Simpson, Obertan. Tiote ( only because of his disciplinary record ), however, if we are in a relegation position by Jan then I think we'll see the likes of Cabaye, Ba & Ben Arfa wanting to go to more ambitious clubs.

How much is this fee that when we're struggling to field Ameobi, we can't play a fit Xisco? If it's £2 million quid and he improves our options, pay the bloody money...
If he's rubbish, fair enough in not playing him, but he should have been sent packing way before now if that's the case!

It must be a strange contract Xisco has, what is his agent thinking of, how can it be in the players interests to languish on the bench, or play reserve games, he's still young, he has the remainder of his career, even we forget about him being one of our players.
If I were Xisco, I'd be getting as much playing time in the limelight as I could, what is left for him after his time with us, it'll be a case of Xisco who?
