Despite the obvious upset of Arsenal fans and the clamour and cries for revolution, we were beaten by a good team today who deserved their win, so I think that needs acknowledging.
After watching the MOTD highlights, I'm even MORE CONVINCED that Wenger needs to **** off, everything about him, from him on the sidelines, his reaction, his post match commentary, shows he's a completely defeated man devoid of ideas. The sight of him just pisses me off, I'm so tired of seeing this defeated loser, always looking clueless, deflated, and throwing his stupid excuses and empty talk of turning things around. Please Wenger, go, just go now.
Funny. Hansen just said the same as me. That Wenger needs to spend big on a DM a defender and a striker. I'll go with that rather than non constructive rant.
A bit harsh...considering all but one of the EPL clubs would probably bite our hand off to take him off us. The main blame lies with the board for the spending constraints...Wenger needs to start spending big now.

It's a very constructive rant, the man needs to act LIKE A LEADER, not a deflated clueless loser, which is what he looks like. He needs to STAND THE **** UP AND SAY NO MORE, ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, WE NEED TO FIGHT. Instead, he comes afterward, in a soft deflated voice talking bullshit, and on the sidelines he looks like a clueless deflated loser, that's NOT WHAT WE NEED. And having said all that, I still think he needs to go, for many seasons I used to say okay Ill give Wenger another season, well, he's burned all his chances with me, I've been very very patient, but it's basically been the last 2 seasons, that've made me have enough of him, it's shown nothings going to change, with the way we ended the season in 2011, with how 2012 went, and how it's going now, it's over for me with him, he will never change, there's no point in ending each season saying ok I'll give Wenger another go, I've given him many go's, we don't get better, we get more ****, and it's still the same **** coming from his mouth, with the same deflated loser stature.

Thank **** for that Anyway, getting back to serious discussion. I think Wenger can still turn it around this season, but we need more effort from our players. I know it sounds like an excuse being tired, but you could see in the 2nd half that we lacked sharpness and we started to make mistakes. I thought we were a bit unlucky not to score to be honest, on another day, a couple of our chances could have been goals and the result would have been different. But that said, we lost, so we need to address the issues. Fair play to swansea, they played well all game and made it really tough for us. But I still believe that the problems we face are in our control to put right. I think we need to press further up the field and basically defend from the front. What Swansea (and villa and everton) did really well was to press us and prevent us from having time on the ball. We need to do the same to the oppo. We are allowing teams far too much time on the ball and far too much space in MF, we're on the back foot facing our own goal and it means the DF are being put under pressure. Not only does this mean we're spending more time defending and less time attacking, but it also prevents our defenders from contributing to the attack. Also when we do have the ball, we're not creating enough movement ahead of MF, so we end up passing sideways and backwards or we lose the ball, again inviting pressure on the DF. We need to play with more urgency and more creativity. Even if some of our attacks don't amount to anything, we need to at least be trying to make things work. It gets the crowd behind us and it inspires confidence. When we knock it around until we lose the ball, the crowd get restless and start to get on the players backs. Ultimately, I think we need to strengthen this squad. The first priority is a DM who is there to break up oppo play and win us the ball back. Then I think we need a LB who can cross and defend - I also think we need another top class striker. I like Giroud, but he can't do it all on his own.
Just got back, all i can say is we were dire. Really dire. My optimism has now faded entirely. This is the season we finally miss out on the top 4.
Going on the past month's performances, we're nowheere near the level needed to finish top 4. It's a miracle we're only 5 points off.
I have still not given up on that for two reasons. 1.I think we will buy players in January. The possibility of missing out on the CL will scare the **** out of the board, also according to so many reports, we have the money (£40 Mil plus) and Wenger is ready to spend it. 2.The teams that are competing with us for those places, are not streets ahead of us in quality. I think the teams in and around the CL spots, are very similar. Spurs always **** up for one reason or another, when they try and finish above us. It's a mental barrier that they will still have to overcome and hopefully that pressure weighs on them again this season in the run in.
Arsenal will spend in the next window for the reasons that jack gave. Also the fact that the teams this season are performing worse in the prem than usual means that you've still got a chance. If Arsenal don't get fourth, then I think you will just be beaten at the post.
