listened on tigersplayer but let's be honest Macca wins this one.. new keeper's done well & I thought it sounded like Bruce was very reliable again?
Evans Koren Stockdale The mcshane we all know is starting to creep out again, he made 3 howlers which easily could have and probably should have cost us goals if it wasn't for great covering defending and forest being utterly ****e. Think his time in the spotlight is starting to fade. Fair play on the mcshanadonna hand of Paul goal though...
listened to it on tigers player, but certainly when a man punches the ball into the net for the game winner, he surely deserves man of the match
Koren Elmo McShane I think we missed Aluko today, but Koren made the game for us today! Elmo played great, again. McShane made some howlers in defence, but he deserves some praise for getting his goal!
Was the goal really a hand of god? It looked like an own goal to me. I thought their hamdball ptotests were just daft. 1) Quinn 2) Chester 3) Bruce We were pretty toothless today, only had 3 shots of any value and they went in. Koren is useless up front and with the balls coming in from Brady and Elmo we really need a striker to.be getting on.the end of them. The sooner Simpson comes.back in.the better for.me. Brady wpuld have made the top 3 but his fpul for the pen was stupid and nearly cost us.
Quinn first? He was ****ing dreadful today. Says it all about the rest of your post. Ps koren wasn't up front, and everything went through him
I could hardly think of anyone who impressed me particularly today, so I went with two defenders because we kept them very quiet. Quinn, on reflection was probably only in there because he's always awesome rather than his performance today in particular. I don't think he was bad at all though, he didn't do anything negative that I can remember. Evans could have been in there but he gave it away too much, Elmo was quiet, the strikers never had a touch between them, Brady ****ed up for the pen and Meyler kept backing out of aerial challenges. Stockdale did well when called upon but that was only really once or twice. Just leaves the defence and Quinn really :/ I don't know what you can possibly mean by everything going through Koren. We hardly created anything of any value so even if that's true it doesn't mean a lot, but I hardly remember him touching the ball. He's just stranded playing as a striker, and that's exactly what he was.
plain silly on reflection playing Koren as a striker, should have had Simmo holding up the balls, he's a harder player.
1. McShane, - (never ever thought I'd be doing voting McShane MOTM but he clearly took note of Thierry Henry's method in that infamous match and therefore deserves credit.) 2. Koren 3. Stockdale - only really for that finger tip-over towards the end. Overall we were crap. So were Forest. Neither penalties were deserved. We fluked a goal from Thierry 'Maradona' McShane. Really it should have finished 0-0, but generally we do to Forest what Burnley do to us. Pleased with the win but we need to improve against Watford.
Evans Koren Stockdale Apart from scoring the winner(with his hand), I thought McShane looked a complete liability, though not quite as big a liability as Brady. What the **** was he thinking? It was Quinn's worst game for us, I thought Meyler made far too many mistakes and there's no way Mclean should ever be starting as our only out and out striker. It was a really **** game. Hurry back Sone...
1) Evans 2) Koren 3) Stockdale I never criticised a goalscorer so much in a match like I did with McShane yesterday
