What a complete load of bolicks, last week when we beat M/boro....Blah de,blah,de blah. Now I am in trouble but you lot have lost patience, trust in our chairman,I do.....
The bloke is ****ing useless and should be sent back to Oz. he could cadge a lift with the rugby boys they might teach the useless **** how to tackle like a man
Go careful Shiny as for some of us it was a double **** day. what with city's first half non-performance and Wales throwing it away in the last minute, I am not a happy bunny tonight. I am sure that Wales will recover sooner rather than later when all those players missing through injury come back. As for City, I like many others have been a DMc supporter but I am haveing serious doubts about him now. We have a defence which leaks goals for fun and DMc has acknowledged publicly many times that he's looking for a doominant ball winning centre half. Yet one of our weakest links is captain and apparently first name on the team sheet. DMc spent £2 million this summer on strikers yet neither is normally in the starting line up. Today we started with Ryan Taylor on his own up front ; he's scored ONE goal this season! and this was another must win game against a side who could not buy a win until today. Central midfield, Danns excluded, are exactly the same two that have fumbled their way through the last two or three seasons. Neither Elliott or that bloody Aussie are up to it. So today's team has a spine of ; Heaton - you all know that I've seen only 3 games this season, so will someone tell me how or why he is any improvement on Gerken Bates and Fontaine - a crock and a not very good defender Elliott and the Aussie - Can't defend and can't create Taylor - hold the ball up reasonably well but about as much chance of scoring as my Gran (who died in 1971) I would dearly like to believe that McInnes can turn it around quickly but my head tells me that he will not. Maybe a Director of Football, some wise old head like for instance Joe Jordan would be able to help. But I now consider it would be sensible to say goodbye to Derek McInnes so that any new manager has the entire January window to use to help us out of this great big pile of dung that we find ourselves in.
A pendantic pirate, sorry P49 I meant our owner as well as Mr Dawes but Steve Lansdown,in my opinion has never let us down....
L Well Cidered I hope you are being truthful about Wales it's just not happening at the moment. Can't wait for Gatland to come back and restore that team. But as you know we go through these patches and this time we are a young team who will improve Like you I have always been in the in Del I trust, but watching today's game coupled with the game against Charlton I just can't see it being turned around. Why play one up front at home your telling the opposition we are scared of you! I hope the board see sense and think of a DOF. Don't know if Del would like it but he does need help at the moment.
Can we have a refund, not fit for purpose. Perhaps we can ask Dels old club to take him back, saying he is not fit for purpose.
lets play the developmental squad please, but with heaten, danns, adomah and davies in the team We'd be a much better team. issa fact
How true this is but the rounds going around the net is Sheffield wed game loose and that is it,Christ if this is true please explain after 1 year in job,why one game will make any difference Anybody Know the real reason Sextoy went, the real reason.
I think it is too late now anyway. We play the teams around us this month and by the time we've failed to beat them it will be too late for a new manager to turn it around. I can't think of anyone out there with a proven track record in the Championship who is available and could turn this round once we have blown December. McCarthy has gone now. Maybe Billy Davies but SL wouldn't put up with a character like that. So......much as I feel that Del has proved how utterly inconsequential it is to have any kind of record in the SPL, I don't think ditching him now will save us. We just need to suck it up, realise we are doing a Coventry and hope a decent manager becomes available in the summer and Del walks once he sees how badly he has failed. Sorry!
I think the bottom line here (Shiny's graphics notwithstanding) is who is the best option to keep us in the Championship. Is it Del, possibly not. Then who is the sensible option ? I think we are now in a dogfight for the rest of the season. This is what happens when you spend all your money on strikers and dont address the problem of an ageing an lamentable defence which was past its sell by date 4 years ago
Third goal! Defending is a team game. McCinnes team supposedly had a more defensive shape. Non league managers can set a team up defensivley better than that. Team shape i.e getting narrow, goal side is a skill that should be drilled into them I thought the team was in dogfight before season kicked off, didn't know who this McCinnes bloke was before he joined, thought he was supposed to be tactician and organiser. I would give him a matter of games now to show it.
The really strange thing for me was coppell a proven top manager arrived Luvlly jubbly we thought, then we could all see he was not happy about goings on in the back ground, then we go from One extreme to another with two unproven guys in Millen and Delboy. I could not believe the wave of optimism doing the rounds by the fans when Del was appointed, remember the club he came from it was the equivalent of the fourth division, that in itself was a massive gamble. Steve L has made major mistakes in all his managerial appointments one way or another. He needs to realise the right manager with the right credentials are the single most important factor in the success of the football club. I am aware yesterday of 6 season tickets holders who did not go to the game, imagine what it will be like if we get relagated. The optimism and joy Gary J gave us has well and TRUELY gone from our club sadly.
We all called him a Coppout but I have always thought something made him do it, just no ones telling us. I know he was against the David James signing, but something was wrong. Whether he looked at the team and saw something in training and preseason? Said on another thread would not surprise me one bit if Del does go we make Louis Carey player manager.
