We're in the CL knockout stages (with a chance of winning it), Favorites for the (Title, not the mickey mouse)CoC Cup, Consistently finished Top (2)4 in the (our league) Prem, In the (domsetic)FA Cup. (1st with a real chance of winning)10th ATM, Truly Elite teams such as Real, Barca, Utd, Bayern will be saying the stuff in brackets!
We can bid for him, but he ain't coming, because a world class player doesn't leave a big club that's winning trophies, for another club, that's winning **** all, languishing in 10th, and claims 4th spot is a trophy. That's what you call career suicide. A world class player looks to progress, not regress, not go from title winning team to a team that can only fight for 4th.
Well we're not an elite team anymore, that's just a fact, if anyone thinks we are, they're deluding themselves. lol, Arsenal, an elite club? What kind of elite club languishes in 10th place? What kind of elite club only fights for 4th place, and considers it a trophy? What kind of elite club goes 7 years without a trophy, and 8 years without the main trophy, a league? We are not an elite club, simple as that, and Wenger, and the board, can thank themselves for that, 2 ****ing idiots hand in hand.
Ok guys, let's shoot down the idea of signing a big player. Then later, let's go complain that we didn't bid for a big player. I mean sure we can afford him, but since you say so let's not bid for him.
We will soon not be contenders for 4th if this keeps up. That is all. Enjoy this season in the CL because it may be our last for a while.
We were languishing below 10th last season and we came 3rd. Season is far from over. Plenty of time to turn things around.
We are doing worse this season than last, we languished in 17th in September, but by October we began to turn things around, it's already December, and our form has been beyond bad, worse than last year, 3 wins in 10, 1 in 6, as the season goes on, we're becoming worst, and dropping more points. Season is far from over, but even if we turn it around, what's there to be happy about? Ending 4th or 3rd again? That's nothing to be proud or happy about, but simply shows it's the same old story, no progress being made, and Wenger and Gazidis are filthy, yes, FILHTY, LIARS, for telling RVP this year we would show ambition and move forward.
Believing that we can only sign average players is exactly the type of mentality that will see us become just that.
Messi is in a far different caliber and price range. We can AFFORD Goetze, but again let's shoot down that idea. And then later when a Chelsea or a City gets him for around the price we can AFFORD, let's all complain about why AW didn't try to sign him.
And let's not try buying top players. Only good teams do that and a poor run of form means we must be a s*** team right?
Who said we would try and sign Messi ? You make a mockery of your argument when you make **** up like that.
We can afford him, but his wages are 100k+, we aren't going to be paying that much, . And why would he join us from Dortmund, a big club already winning things? Please, I want an answer to this Q. Why leave a big and successful team, for a team like Arsenal who aren't successful at all in recent times?
But we had Judas last year to save our asses. Whos gonna do it this year ? Gervinho? .............peeerlease Giroud looks out of his depth . Walcott still trying to shoot thru defenders like they are not there . We are creating nothing .
Very good point, people seem to forget RVP's contributions last year. Arsenal fans have to eat their own words now, at least some of them do, since many of them said losing RVP won't be a big loss, that he was a one hit one season wonder, and he wouldn't replicate his form, lol, guess that worked out eh? I actually like Giroud, but the guy just isn't world class and is out of his depth in most games, I'd say he's good enough to be a squad player for Arsenal, no problem with that, but no way can he be our main striker to lead the line all year.
