    Maybe it's a bit like an Alfa Romeo - expensive, stunning to look at and you'll enjoy using it - but you know it's going to break down sooner or later...

    That's fine if you make £38 of phone calls a month. I'm a very light user and just use it when I need to, not for small talk.

    I swaped my HTC Desire HD for my mates i-phone 4 for a month. I couldn't wait to get mine back and he didn't want to swap back. Its personal preference I suppose though. I just find the android phones better value for money also.

    My aunt lived out in the country and when I used to visit as a kid, we'd go out in the fields and collect blackberries and mushrooms.

    I never really liked them myself.

    It's expensive aye, but think about it, with the iPhone 4:

    You get a standard phone, an iPod, a palmtop computer, a quality camera and video-camera and a games console.

    I was at David Guetta on Monday night, we were all taking videos - my mates all have blackberrys; sounds and video quality was terrible where as the iPhone gives you quality sound AND you can actually make out Guetta's face shouting stuff to the audience.

    They are expensive, they are a little pointless, but if you got one, you'd love it - I know I do!

    I've had one for 18 months and never had to get it repaired <touchwood>

    Only thing annoying about it is the battery goes down pretty fast if you spend to much time watching porn on it.

    you're better off waiting until July. Apparently the new iphone 5 is out then.

    Not sure what improvements it has though. My contract is finished in June so I will hang fire for a bit.

    I currently have a nokia 6700c which is a middle range phone but does what I need it for.
