Nice to get a big race winner- RSA form always worth following in the Hennessy and great run by old Tidal , who must be worth another crack at the National. Lion disappointed for the long shot ew nibble as i thought he might stay on for a place. Bob certainly a GC contender now

<applause> BW backers. The form was there for all to see, but most of us have an aversion to favourites and went looking for something else :)

Next at Newcastle is surely Juniors for the taking?

Where would you go with Junior? Welsh National? I'm very, very surprised he wasn't in the Hennessey.

Awesome performance from Junior. That'll be the best he does all season I reckon - Pipe has him fit and well first time out and he will go up in the weights now.

Ruby's been stood down? Didn't notice anything untoward myself - maybe one over the eight or whatever the number is these days.

Can't ignore Ulck Du Lin in the last - featherweight, trainer likes his chances and a flood of money for him

I'd go for the Gold Cup with Junior. Not purely because of that performance but where do you go. His mark is getting unmanageable and he probably wants 3miles minimum. He tipped up in the National. I dont really know where they can go for a testing 3 mile + chase that is not a handicap? Gold Cup for me, The Giant Bolster andMon Mome have placed in recent years don't forget.
