We're not atrocious but we're struggling to get into the game. Fulham have been the better team so far
Fulham look much better set up than us. They seem to be pressuring us in the right areas, one of which is just in front of our back four, trying to catch us out with mistakes. - they are pinning us right back. As a result, we're trying "flicks" and "chips" to get it forward to Defoe, Lennon and Bale, rather than playing our triangular passing game, but they all seem to have fulham players very tight on them. if we don't switch it up, Fulham will capitalise. We'll get frustrated by this.
they are saying bale was fouled so maybe bales rep is going before him but he only has himself to blame.
We seem to be keeping possession well enough but in the wrong areas of the pitch. Fulham are doing a good job of limiting our options and have looked threatening occasionally as well. We need to click into gear here
he was barely clipped. However, it was enough to have got a freekick, but he made an absolute meal of it. the dive was so theatrical.
It's very rare anyone else gets booked for it though. Even Suarez for all his comedy dives doesn't get booked. Refs give the benefit of the doubt to most players if they think there was some contact and don't book them yet for Bale it's an instant booking.
At a guess, Tony Gale. I heard two seconds of what I thought was his voice and switched to a Russian stream.
maybe the refs have been told to crack down more on diving as in recent weeks there seems to be more yellows shown for diving. but bale needs to stop the diving. remember jurgen, he used to be the biggest diver in europe and then came here and cut it out his game. i know bale doesnt always dive but he is earning a rep and refs will use it to show they arent going to be tricked.
They definitely have, I'm just saying that other teams aren't getting the same treatment. Gerrard didn't get booked midweek, nor Suarez despite going down easy on a few ocassions. Suarez even has a reputation for it yet has avoided several bookings this season. Young too.
