Tomorrow, the Dons meet! F.A. Cup - MK Dons vs Wimbledon A bit of 'history' there...... (Your comment, Don Galante?)
They really got to drop the Dons bit from their name. It's just plain wrong,so i'm right behind AFC Wimbledon today.
It was a down right liberty picking up and moving a club lock, stock and two smoking barrels. Don Galante hopes the proper Wimbledon give him a proper mullering.
Its funny all this. All the animosity is from the so called Wimbledon fans who didn't "save" their club when it was going down the ****ter. Talking of stealing clubs, exactly where do Wimbledon play? Whose ground was it before they kicked the previous owners out? They claim to have started at the bottom and worked their way up. No, they didn't. There was at least 2 leagues below them they didn't have to do. Pete saved a name sort of but his real ambition was to bring league football to a city that needed, and wanted it. If he hadnt done what he did, would Wimbledon still be going? No, no it wouldn't. That's why I dont understand any of the hysteria about this. People in glass houses and all that tbh. I thought they were gonna boycott the game too? Seems not, it's their FA Cup Final I guess, oh and the MK Dons fans would also like to drop the Dons bit but you can thank the FA for that, and despite all the media induced frenzy around this game, most couldn't give 2 craps about the game, they just want a decent league position, and a cup run whilst nice, is not their concern, Wimbledon could be Barnet, Peterborough or Man U for all the majority of the fans think. I work in MK, so am surrounded with this on a daily basis, why the hell does it matter to the rest of you? Or was the Wimbledon Crazy Gang your second team at some point?

I am chilled. This is me chilled. IM FOOKING CHILLED ALRIGHT?!?! This is the latest in a number of these threads I've seen, and I don't get why anyone cares about MK Dons, I work there, and I sure as hell don't. So no, not a fan. Never had a second team, never will. Few teams I keep an eye out for cos of people I met in the Forces so there's a reminder of them but no second teams.
