I wish we'd signed him, its a shame to see a player of his quality on the bench so much. Its times like this that I really wish we had some seriously big cash injections now. IIRC he went for about £11mill which isn't out of our range but I guess we got Lloris and Dembele who are probably better in their positions anyway. Its just a shame because I bet we won't his potential as quickly or to the same extent as if he was at a club getting regular football.

I expected a close home win because West Ham only lost 1-0 at O/T to a not very good goal. 3-1 is even better and Chelsea go to Sunderland next. If they lose at a ground where they normally win they have irreparable problems. No win in the PL for seven now. I love it. So now let's get a win today and I hope WBA win sending Chelsea down to fourth. They were lucky to be at the top.
I've put that aside today as I hate both teams for different reasons. For pure footballing reasons, that was a great performance from West Ham. Nothing minging about their "football" at all today, IMO. which they get a lot of stick for. what a start to the day.
