Great ride by Dennis but it was a poor race in my opinion, both horses stalked each other, think JM should have done better, well done Country Wide backers
great performance there but Cinders maybe needed the run and also the ground means you can almost put a line through it. I wouldn't touch 8/1 for the Champion Hurdle, will be a totally different race. I'd love a bit of 25s from 10 minutes ago though!!

Agree it was a poor ride from Maguire Dan, mind you it wouldn't have made much difference. Tell you what ****ing annoys me about horse racing though - I lumped on Grumeti in the Triumph and Countrywide FLame wins. So then I'm at Aintree and lump on Countrywide Flame and ****ing Grumeti goes and wins. So I back C&A today and ****ing Countrywide Flame wins. All I can say is

Sorry but how was that a poor Maguire ride ??- he stalked the leaders had every chance going to the last but couldnt quicken due to soft ground and the Flame's big fitness edge. Quinn's horse still one of the most underrated hurdlers but Champion hurdle may be a year too soon as its a very tough race for five year olds. DOR shows he is as good as any around when on the right horse.
