Eddie - I played for the Dominican Republic in the 1998 Charlton Athletic Soccer School World Cup Finals at the prestigious Old Crook Log (I think it was the last one there before they moved to Cardiff whilst the new one was built). We was coached by Jason Morgan and Matt Parish. We didn't do you proud.
Not a question of making "me" proud. No way do I associate myself with this disfunctional kleptocracy. But your post inspired me to look up the Dominican Republic's FIFA ranking. I was amazed to find they are currently 92nd, which is above New Zealand, who reached the last World Cup Finals, Iceland, Iraq, Northern Ireland, Latvia and Lithuania, who are all minor but respectable soccer nations. Just shows what rubbish the FIFA rankings are.
