She might just get to see that remark.

Of course, for a little consideration she might not.

    Good to see Flintoff win.

David Price's last 4 opponents have been appalling and pointless. He really should be fighting better opponents by now, like Fury.

Well done to Fred. Looked every bit a novice - but worth remembering thats what they both were. I remember watching Fury early doors and he looked very novicey too, and he had an amateur career! However at 34 I think he needs to think carefully before he sets foot in the ring again! His lass is banging, he has plenty of options and could get badly hurt. There is not really anywhere for him to go with it.

Price needs to step up. Chisora? Depends which one turns up! Fury doesn't fancy it and I think he might find Kevin Johnson tricky if Johnson is still in shape. Fury will get knocked out soon enough, once people put him on the back foot his defence is embarrassing. Wladimir? I hope he isn't serious about fighting him after Johnson. Price is decent but they need to find someone half decent who can take him a few rounds! Him and Fury should go but I suspect it would be another easy night for Price.

Very few options of course but maybe look to Arreola, Povetkin or Adamek. Wach would be a good opponent to go a few rounds, very durable. Price needs to step up though because he is not really learning much at domestic level.

I think Fury fancies it, but being smart and looking to have it further down the line, for a British super fight that America would be interested in, beat a few Americans each, sorted. Needs Price to step up big time though. Fury does defend with his head too much still, hopefully sort that out soon!
Cannot say much for Price's defence though either, Skelton got him a few times easily and Price looked bruised last night(left cheekbone). A harder puncher may of knocked him down.

Wladimir would destroy any of the British challengers at the minute really, especially Fury & Price. He showed he is a lot more aggressive to fighters as tall/ bigger than he is against Mariusz Wach.

Maybe a bit unfair on Fury, I think he would fight him. I do think his promoters (quite rightly they'd say) are looking after their man. Its all very well Frank Maloney saying "there is £650,000 there for him" but if Fury beats Johnson and fights a couple of "easier" continental fighters then he can make some easy money, learn and the Price fight is bigger and his hand stronger in negotiations. I can't comment on Price defence. I don't think we've really seen it tested. Skelton caught him but I think they knew he was going early to body punches (only way he has really been stopped) so I don't think he ever felt it was a danger. Problem is he needs a durable test before he jumps up to top level to work out a proper defence. People will say "he's an olympic bronze medalist and top amateur surely he has one" but its a different heat you have to take in the pros.

Wlad is underrated. The one guy who could knock him out was too scared to get close, David Haye. He should step up again and risk getting knocked out to get to him. The blueprint to beat him is no secret. He is a better fighter than when stopped in his earlier career but the bottom line is he has little challenge since, and no one has been willing to get close, put the heat on and had the power to do it. Wach showed he was still vulnerable but wasn't a good enough in fighter to really hurt him. Hayes camp got obsessed with Wlad leaning on him prior to the fight and missed the point. Knock him out, don't try and outpoint him!

    Great clip by the way!

You could argue it has brought boxing some much needed positive publicity and new audience as it concedes ground to MMA hand over fist.

There are far bigger disgraces in boxing which need sorted out e.g. the number of belts, ridiculous decisions, home decisions, disgraceful pre fight behaviour that goes beyond being funny, weak drug testing and a myriad of others problems the authorities have failed to address over the years.

I love boxing but lets not pretend its in the greatest of health or well regulated. Its reputation can more than handle something like this!

    This, 100%.

Considering Lamont Peterson is still IBF champion, Flintoff's fight doesn't event scrape the surface of controversy.

Anyone giving Flintoff ****, he earned his right to box. Anyone(given a license) has the right. Boxers complaining are just jealous of the money he can make due to being a cricket legend.

Fury won incredibly easily. Really does make me think he is VERY far ahead of Price. Both have questionable 'chins' but Fury has had it more rough and the more experience.
That 650,000 is nothing compared to what he would get against Wladimir either and a defeat to Wlad would mean nothing really. Minimum of a million since he dominated Kingpin.

Vitali hasn't retired either...and Fury is now number #1 mandatory challenger(WBC).

Fury gave his best performance so far for me. Even with Johnsons questionable conditioning, he is still a decent test and certainly the best either has faced so far. Only thing I would say is 3 weeks notice?! Must be desperate for cash. I think he should look to take in one of the other three I mentioned now. Price should do that too. Forget Chisora there is too big a risk of getting either a farce or a 2nd rate Chisora. Guy is touched. Arreola and Povetkin (who I'm not convinced is keen on facing the big heavyweights) are he way to go.

The problem they all face is outside of the big Ukranians and Haye, there are not many options. I can see Fury getting it on with Haye though. His gob is big enough to force it. I think he would get knocked out but I think Fury would fancy the job. Everytime they've asked Price he seems to like Haye and not really fancy it because they know each other. Haye wants to fight, he isn't ready to retire and shouldn't.

I'd leave Wlad a couple of fights if I was either Fury or Price. I think everyone thinks they would have a great chance because of their size. But both are easy to hit and Wlad has a ridiculous jab, and like you say Wach proved he is not massively uncomfortable against tall fighters, its suits him in some ways.
