If you thought tht was funny, you have got to google or youtube Jacky Healy Rae. Not proud to say that my fellow county men and women elected him repeatedly to represent us in the Irish parliament.

There are many examples of that in this country, Ciarrai.

Mayo re-elected Beverley Cooper Flynn after she was disgracefully thrown out of her party for encouraging people to evade paying their taxes whilst working as a tax advisor in a bank. No kidding.

Dubs re-elected Charlie Haughey, Bertie Ahern, Liam Lawlor and Ray Burke despite it being in the public eye that they were involved in corruption to beat the band. The first two were elected as Taoiseach (Prime Minister) both of them on more than one occasion.

There are many other examples of this throughout the whole country.

Do you know what really gets me about this country and politics, it is the way when a politician retires or is not re-elected, one of his off spring or close family suddenly appear to claim the seat. That happens with all parties and it makes me sick.

Hey Finglas, you're having a bad night mate. Going to arrange another trip very soon. Will PM you when I know. No talking about MH, Irish politics, religion, or Swords. Just drinking pints. How does that suit ya.

Yep, suits me down to the ground.

I have been seriously wound up tonight.

To disagree with an opinion is one thing, to deliberately misquote me is another.

So, when is our Dublin meet being held? I know a great pub in Swords and it's close to the airport if anybody needs to catch a flight after.

Could be a dodgy one Ciarrai.

It's not certain to be on the 14th yet.

It could be on at 12.45 on the 12th if either us or Spurs draw in the 3rd round of the cup.

Finglas, regarding the other stuff that's going on tonight, I've met you now three times, and you continue to be the most obnoxious, belligerent Dublin langer I've ever met.

    When's the next meet-up lad?<ok>

Will look at matches and dates more closely next week. What we need is a Saturday afternoon or evening away match and a pub that can show quality streams. Maybe with a bit of planning and enough warning some of the non-Irish lads on here might come over.

I will also look at my next home match but hoping to go over in next 3-4 weeks.

Is the game against City on Jan 29 less likely to be moved?

Funny enough, I always keep imagining you as gnomes good at gathering shamrocks. No offence just kidding.
