Pablo Hernandez has been ruled out with an injury. He has been Swansea's best player for me in recent weeks. Was really impressed with him when they played Liverpool. And before that he caught my eye when he first got into the Valencia team.

Glad Hernandez isn't playing - but we are going to have to play A LOT better if we want to get anything out of this match regardless of how Swansea play.

I can't believe that after one game back Sagna and Walcott are doubts again.

Do you mean resting him when suggesting leaving out Arteta? If so, I would not agree that this is the right game to do so -two chances to rest him coming up vs. Olympiacos and Bradford. We need him for this one and the West Brom game. If, however, you mean drop him for Coquelin, then no, definately not.

By the rule of stats, we're owed a win tomorrow.

Swansea have just come off a good win, making it more likely they'll lose.

Swansea beat us last time we played, so we're now owed a victory over them.

2-0 to the Arsenal. We've had a poor start but it's time to show what we're worth. Swansea will try to play but we'll stand firm and beat them playing the beautiful game. This should get us on a nice little run too.

    Thanks Swansea :p

Sorry Gunners but we are starting to click very nicely after all the turmoil from the scouser saga, early season. I'm looking to at least get a draw, but will go with a 2-1 win to Swansea, our form is improving week on week, and your form has dropped off lately, so think the Mighty Swans will nick it!............<cheers>

PS Have a soft spot for the Gunners always have since Arsène Wenger became manager, loved your days with Thierry Henry, you've slipped from grace somewhat from those days, but still a great club, and I'm sure things will turn out fine, I know the issues amongst fans on Wenger, and I'm in the camp that you should keep him, besides your not having Laudrup!!...............<laugh>

Laudrup unveils bizarre new training method ahead of Swansea's visit to Arsenal

It seems Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has been preparing to face Arsene Wenger's Arsenal team by getting his side to play football with a rugby ball. The Wales rugby team use frozen cryotherapy chambers, Andy Murray does chin ups with weights strapped around his waist and the All Blacks do sprint work while standing on medicine balls - but this technique is new on all of us.......

I bet Laudrup is still the best player at Swansea when he joins his players for a kick about in training. Bloody hell, what a player he was at his peak.

Excellent non biased thread. Really looking forward to this one. Will be really happy with a draw, think it's going to be a tight match.

If you had built your house out of bricks instead of mud and straw, this would never have happened <whistle>

If you sat down and knocked up a list of his team mates and managers it would be frightening. He has been surrounded by top class players for his whole career and played in the finest stadiums. We just hope he can use that for our benefit. You can bet your bottom dollar that the big clubs are already hovering .

Shame Hernandez is missing otherwise we could have had 6 Spanish players on the pitch - Arteta, Cazorla, Michu, Hernandez, Chico and Rangel. Bet that hasn't happened too often before in a Premier League game.

Actually 3 Germans on the same pitch is also rare - Mertesacker, Podolski & Tremmel.

You are used to the one from the North. They still live in caves up there, dress up in robes and sacrifice Englishmen .......

Hi all you Arsenal fans. Think you'll get the 3 points today, unfortunately for us. We played the best 45 minutes I've ever seen a Swans team play against the Baggies 1st half but Hernandez was at the heart of virtually everything we did. After a slow start he's been immense in the past few games and although I hope I'm proved wrong I think his absence today will leave us short going forward. Looks like he may be out for the next game too which is bad news.

Right now I'd take a draw.

    Good luck after today. <ok>
