Lots are calling for his head yeh. Under Bruce in a way I was wanting us to get beat at the end so he would have to go. But with MON I so want him to succeed as do many others but it hurts us as fans given our performances and results to go with it. How much more can we tolerate? We are not asking for top 4 just a win every other game or so would do. I hope he turns it around

He is not beyond reproach and I have never ever said he was by the way but we are a million miles form the situation you intimate here.

Yes the table looks a little bleak but we are a mere 13 games in. David Moyes, the darling of EVERYONE'S wish lists, has on 4 or 5 occasions in the past 6 or 7 years started worse than this but then had a storming finish. MoN has a pedigree far more successful than Moyes, so why wouldn't some of our fans give him the same chance to show us his worth?

Bottled it? How would you know are you Dave Whelan in disguise? There are a number of reasons he may not have took the job.

If he is so bad why does he have his Wigan team above ours with your beloved Mon in charge? (albeit we have a game in hand)

How does he consistently get a group of average at best players to play the great attacking football they do year after year despite losing his best players (Moses, N'zogbia, Diame) year after year and having a very limited budget to spend?

Saying he would not be on the top 20 list of managers if mon went is ridiculous imo.

I find the thought of grown men thinking that it is time for a change completely unfeckingbelievable. It's like revenge time for the Bruce lovers.

Peter Reid got us relegated but then gave us one of the most exciting seasons ever when we stormed division 1. We also went on to finish in 7th in the prem the season after.
Agree totally with cest above. Moyes has had some very dodgy times with Everton in the past but his board were playing the long game and correctly so.
    Safc should follow Evertons lead.

dont know why we are contemplating a change it just depresses me to read what some people think even though i know they mean it for the good of our club.

It is sad how fickle many Sunderland fans have became...Whatever happened to supporting the lads through thick and thin eh? What we see now is that as soon as we have a few bad results/performances; then the team, manager, the owner and even the bloody team tea lady are total ****e! Get a bloody grip of ya sells man..

If by the end of next season and he has had a full 2 years we can really judge him properly

    But also this

    Ridiculous? Why?

If you want me to be blunt I wouldnt consider him full stop. He bottled the chance to manage not only one of English footballs biggest clubs but one of Europes biggest. Whatever the details, he prefered to stay in his very comfortable, no pressure, easy day to day job where expectation is minimal and survival the ONLY agenda.

He knew he couldn't handle a club like Liverpool and he would be crucified in the pressure cooker environment of the NE IMO. He would be an absolute disaster here IMO. Your opinion may differ but it doesn't make mine any more ridiculous than your support of him. Words of this nature are unwanted and tbh demeans your entire argument.

    Just my opinion.

Being saying the same thing in not the same words as a reason why we should stick with MON - he needs time - a full season at least.

Relegation talk at 13 games in is a tad premature Billy imo but as said above we kept Reid after a similar relegation and then he delivered 3 of the best years I have ever seen at the club in terms of football.

However, I have absolutely no fear at all that come May 2013 we will be in a relegation place and I still firmly believe we will be top 10.

I could add how will you feel if we finish top 10 or better? Will you accept MoN as the manager then?
