    I so regret the way I berated a lot of you on here about the way some of you treated Barton. I for one was taken in by the smug c***. You can almost see the ****er smirking as he talks about our misfortune.

    A decent person would have simply given a non-committal answer. He really is a curse on whichever club is unfortunate enough to have him on their books.

    Sorry guys not wanting to cause a stir but I see absolutely nothing wrong with this interview. He gave honest answers to the questions he was asked. He outlined the difficult circumstances we are in and wished his well for the remainder of the season.
    Despite my utter contempt for Mr Barton I personally see nothing wrong with this interview.

    Thank God for that. Barton predicting we'll go down is the best indicator of all that we wll survive comfortably. He just needs to focus on not breaking someone's leg while playing for Marseilles or stubbing a cigarette into the eye of thier star player. Do you think you can manage that Joey?

    Maybe it's not what he actually said NUTS just the way he said it. I might be reading more into his expressions but he seems (to me anyway) very smug. Then again it might just be him being his usual self and me being tired and in a bad mood :)
