They should back it up with a nice balanced article on Hamilton... then we could take both drivers, spill their blood on an alter, sacrifice a couple of virgins (sorry Tomcat... nice to volunteer though) before burning them both on a pyre to honor the Prophet Vettel.
---- Domenicali: Ferrari never wanted to diminish Vettel's title triumph http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104667 ----
Exactly, they only ever inquired into the situation, and when the FIA said there was nothing in it they said "Ok cool" and didn't appeal because they knew nothing would come of it. So maybe lets all stop making more of something then there actually is, we all know thats just the media doing what they do best.
"I wasn't trying to rob your house, I was just making sure all the windows and doors were locked, which they were"
lol. I think that if the tables had been turned that RBR would have wanted to ensure that they had missed out fair and square too. I'm just glad that it's all finally put to bed and that there isn't a whole bunch of appeals and ugliness. In all honesty I think the whole thing has been blown up well out of proportion. If anything, the FIA could have made it clear to the world on Sunday that Vettel's pass was clean and under green and there would have been much less fuss. Why was it so hard for them to do that? Sometimes I think they'd struggle organizing a piss up in a brewery. At least they're consistent on that I guess.
http://formula-one.speedtv.com/article/cooper-vettel-vergne-incident/ Adam Cooper It was all so unnecessary, and in the end, Ferrari has shot itself in the foot and come out of this looking like a bad loser...
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104687 Fernando Alonso: Ferrari right to query Sebastian Vettel's Brazil move ----- Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari was right to question Sebastian Vettel's pass on Jean-Eric Vergne in the Brazilian Grand Prix, despite the controversy it caused. Several days after Vettel beat Alonso to the 2012 Formula 1 title at Interlagos, Ferrari wrote to the FIA seeking clarification following the emergence of video footage intimating that Vettel passed Vergne under yellow flags. The FIA declared that the pass took place after a green flag so was legal - an explanation Ferrari accepted. Although Alonso stayed out of the row, when questioned at the Ferrari World Finals event at Valencia on Sunday he backed his team's decision. "There were a lot of video clips on the Internet and we knew our fans were asking for an explanation and so it was right for Ferrari to turn to the Federation for a clarification," Alonso said. "We got a reply and I think everything has now calmed down. "I did not pay much attention to all the uproar this incident caused, but I felt we owed our fans an answer." He shrugged off any criticism of himself or Ferrari that the controversy generated. "Frankly, I'm not that interested in what the opinion is of me in Germany or elsewhere," Alonso said. "What I know is that people who see me in the streets hug me and call me gladiator or samurai." ----- Lol @ bold part. I am glad he never heard of harakiri.
http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1...1-rules-and-says-Ferrari-patience-has-run-out- Great Quote! "Yes, I'm referring to one of Ecclestone's phrases: my father always taught me that you have to have respect your elders, above all when they reach the point that they can no longer control their words," Montezemolo added. "So I will stop there. Certainly, old age is often incompatible with certain roles and responsibilities."
So Bernie and Ferrari fall out.... Good Job Bernie got all the teams by the nuts to sign the new concorde agreement beforehand....
But the most twatish quote of the whole saga goes to.......<drum roll> please log in to view this image If Anybody watched F1 this year they would know that Fernando was very gracious of being in a title challenge against all odds. He looked very happy to finish 2nd. What is it with these old guys in F1?
God help us if Flavio comes back, be just these 2 rambling on about their drivers and why the rival is a big twat when he loses. Forget the drivers press conference just have these 2 in the room with Bernie and Luca and watch the fireworks go off!
