It's a sad state of affairs when people are afraid to come out because of the abuse that might come along with it
It is a shame that people feel they have to hide things, but we must also repect that some people prefer to keep things private. It was horrible when there was a phase of gay people being 'outed' by other homosexuals as if they had no right to privacy.
Neil Patrick Harris was outed by Perez Hilton I believe. There are some people who, for some reason, think they have the right to know. As if someone keeping their sexuality to themselves is wrong.
I made a thread about this months ago. Southgate says he was initially accused of being gay because he was university-educated and read the Guardian. I guess that makes me gay too.
Why do people that are gay need to come out and tell everyone? People that are heterosexual aren't goaded into announcing their sexuality. It really doesn't matter and there's no need to make your sexuality common knowledge whatever your sexual preference may be.
It was reading the Guardian that made players assume that LeSaux was gay. Footballers must equate being gay with the ability to read long words.
